Great product, and easy to put on. I would recommend adjusting the straps to your body shape before using it regularly so the bag sits comfortably. Otherwise this has been a game changer for hiking up mountains with a large pack and ensuring my camera is accessible and out of the way.

I initially had the tamrac straps for the chest case. Very awkward, never really figured out how to properly use those. Bought these based on good reviews and I was not disappointed. I followed the advice of others and used it upside down for my camera case (tamrac case). Worked great for my Mt. Whitney trip this past June.

I think that the harness should be able to adjust so that it's a little bit shorter - I shortened the straps all the way, and they were still a little too long. I would have liked them shorter to raise the Toploader a little higher on my chest. I'm thinking about modifying the straps to make them shorter. So these are OK when paired with the Toploader bag, but not perfect.

Sturdy but not very comfortable. WHen placed on back the bag stays loose, doesn't fit properly to your back. The seller will not provide shipping refund so make sure to try this before you buy it.

I read another review here that says there's no way this thing will fit tall people. I was a little skeptical after reading the review that this product would work for me but I ordered anyways. I got it and have used it with two different Lowepro toploaders (65 and 70 aw). I am a tall guy and this works fine for me, it even fit fine when I was wearing heavy winter clothing in layers. For the money, it's good to have and having the camera right in front of you make it convenient to quickly snap shots without fumbling around with a backpack, etc. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again or recommend it to a friend.

It was only $8. It is photography equipment. I should have expected it to be of low quality.Yes it fits my toploader camera pack. Yes it fits me, I am of average build. It is not comfortable to wear, it is a simple collection of straps and clips, with not padding over the narrow straps and not much design to make the straps run to comfortable locations, so I am left with the weight of my (relatively heavy?) Canon 5DII, Canon 24-70mm lens and large top loader pack dangling and binding me. I should have known.

I used to use the Lowepro sling case and didn't like having to sling it around my body every time I wanted to use my camera. I would often just keep the camera strap around my neck with the sling case on my back or keep the sling case in front and use the camera out of it there. This harness is ideal because I can keep the camera in it's carrying case in front of me and easily access it when I am ready to take a picture or put it away. I'm very happy with this harness. I've worn it on multiple 7-10 mile hikes and have no discomfort/rubbing. It did not snag my nice merino hiking shirt, either (the velcro on the rain-fly compartment of the sling back did).I'm a 5'4", 125 lb woman with 36" bust and this harness works well for me.

I own a Nikon D80 and I usually go out with 2 lenses at any time. I purchased the topload zoom 2 along with the harness.I got this for when I go hiking to use it with the chest harness and a backpack at the same time. While the harness is not that easy to put on the first time, the combo topload + harness is so convenient. It does not impair your capacity to carry other hiking related stuff, you don't have to miss all these incredible shots because you can just grab your camera whenever. And you do not need to kill your neck keeping your camera out all the time either. More importantly, this is a nice way to equalize the weight of your equipment when Hiking. Some reviewers mention that the straps were not too conveniently located and could conflict with your backpack straps. If your backpack is well conceived, that's probably not a problem then. Why 4 stars? The straps are fairly thin and not padded like on a backpack. This might hurt and not be too comfortable after long hours. Make sure you wear a pretty think shirt or a jacket. The level of adjustments seems ok for a typical body size but I feel like either very small or very big people will have a hard time adjusting it. It will likely be too loose or too tight.Overall, I like it!

I bought this product to use with the Lowepro Topload Zoom 1 Camera Bag, and it works incredibly well. I do a lot of hiking that often includes periods of rock scrambling. I wanted to have my camera ready at a moment's notice, yet be safe from bumping up against rocky surfaces. With the chest harness attached, my camera fits snug against my stomach, and my hands are free to grab onto rocky surfaces. I have even used the chest harness to keep my camera from swaying while I've climbed into slot canyons. I highly recommend this product.I've found that the camera is most stable when the waist belt is hooked onto the top of the camera bag and the shoulder belts are attached to the bottom of the bag - the vendor's photo shows the opposite attachment.
