The best snare side head on the market! I have been playing for 35+ years, and I use this head on EVERY snare I tech...Concert, set, marching, etc... The head does not have a pre-formed crown, so it adapts and seats to the drum. The crimped collar allows for extremely high tuning range...just the way I like it! I've tried all of the other major brands over the years, but NOTHING beats a Ludwig snare side head!

I have one on every snare I own. est response from my snare wires I've heard. I've tried various remo, evans and aquarians, and these win out.
