The LUVERNE Prowler Max grille guard equips your truck to tackle the toughest of jobs with its uncommon construction, comprehensive protection and arsenal of extra features. It begins with a bold, punched steel screen center section. This heavy-gauge mesh not only adds style to the Prowler Max but also increases protection for your grille, shielding it from rocks, debris and other threats. The center section features our signature logo reveal with contoured horizontal tubes to add even more protection and increase structural stability. Below the center section is a built-in 4" wide step with non-skid, diamond treads. The step blends perfectly with the grille guard and provides easier access when working under the hood, particularly on large, full-size pickup trucks. The Prowler Max grille guard also distinguishes itself with its vehicle-specific wraparound ring assembly. The double-stacked side brush guards uniquely contour to the front end of each truck application and feature 3/8" wires for increased headlight protection. This particular custom truck grille guard fits specific years of the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 (see fitment info to verify). To give it the muscle to stand behind its attitude, we construct the Prowler Max from one-piece, 2" diameter tubular steel. Its heavy-duty uprights bolt directly to the frame of the truck, using high-strength steel brackets and a no-drill installation (NOTE: Brackets for attaching this grille guard are included but shipped separately). To finish things off, the Prowler Max truck grille guard is available in two finish options. The E-coat and black powder coat finish offers maximum durability, while the high-polish stainless steel provides a bright, no-rust shine.

Very fast shipping. Ordered and delivered within 24 hours. I've had this on my truck for a couple months and I love it. It gives me the peace of mind I need driving in an area with moderate deer activity. The diamond tread step is very useful to gain access to the engine bay. I would advise installing at least a 2 inch front leveling kit though. This will alleviate some of the additonal downward pressure on the front suspension and in my opinion, make the truck look and handle way better. I had a local shop handle the installation of both so I am unable to personally comment on the difficulty of installation, but they said it went on like a glove. If you're thinking about front end protection, do it right the first time. Don't cheapen out with a lesser quality grille guard or bull bar. Compared to the cost of a front-end collision, the price of this unit is nothing. Go ahead and add to cart.

It is a nice brush guard, just very big compared to all other brands on the market. It looks a little goofy on a stock silverado being so big and has lots of space between the guard and the grill, however it has grown on me over time.

This grille guard is by far the meanest guard on the market. It's absolutely gargantuan and that's exactly what I was going for. But this thing isn't just for looks; it's solid. The thing weighs a ton and actually required a leveling kit being installed on my truck to level out the extra weight on the front. I'm more than certain this thing could be used for pushing as the padded uprights are made of 1/2" thick steel.When working under the hood of my truck, I simply walk along the lower bars. I'm not very heavy, but even standing all the way on the outside end of this guard produces absolutely ZERO flex.I've received nothing but compliments on this guard since I installed it. I've had more than one conversation with other truck owners who have spotted it from across the parking lot and are curious about where I got it.It's also a great intimidator! I'm really not an aggressive driver, but I live in an apartment that is on a one-way street, and many of my neighbors think they're too special to drive all the way around the block in order to leave the complex, so they like to just sneak out going the wrong direction down the one way street. When you're trying to pull in this is extremely irritating, and I used to actually have them yelling at me to move when I was going the right way! Now when I come around the corner and one of them has decided to try this they quickly stop and back up to get out of the way. I haven't had a single person challenge me to back up since I put it on. It's worth it for that alone if you ask me.
