I have a wood workbench and found that using these rivent nuts allows me to switch out hardware that I mount to my bench.I used these smaller ones to mount a small vice to the top of the bench and it works well.

Works great a garage door that has stripped bolts on hinge supports. Many doors installed by professionals have stripped hardware due to using impact drivers. These rivets save the panel and are a far superior way to fasten the hinges to these thin panel doors.

I've learned that getting stainless hardware (even if it's just 304 stainless like these are) is usually worth it in the long run. I live in the northeast and everything rusts around here.These nutserts meet my needs and expectations for the cost. They're long enough to get you enough threads to grab onto and they have held up as expected so far.Don't expect the strength of a welded nut, it's just a nutsert.

These seem well made, the threads are consistent and the finish is smooth. Honestly I've only used 8 of these to attach some pieces to my truck but they've installed consistently and have stayed in place. Time will of course tell on longevity but being stainless steel I have high hopes.

The only thing better than a rivet nut is a stainless rivet nut!I've installed a bunch of rivet nuts, but for outdoor exposure, these stainless rivnuts are just fantastic. I've used dozens of them on our chicken coop as well as on vehicles, dirt bikes, and outdoor projects.
