This power supply replaces one that I used for years that finally quit working. This unit is built well, hooks up easily and is easily programmable.

Replaced one bought 2 months earlier that stopped working. Easier to set up times for operation Amazon had the best variety of transformers, a lot more than any hardware store. Thought my problem was with the wiring outside, but it was the faulty transformer I was using.

No matter what settings I use it does not control the lights properly. The timer displays the wrong time after a day and that screws up the schedule. I tried the on at dusk and a timed off and same problem after the clock loses or changes time the sensor doesn't work. If you buy it your better off using it as a paper weight

Bought another brand that didn't work. Ordered this and plugged in and worked. Multiple timer settings and easy to use.

The control box is a good size. It is easy to set the programming you want to use. I used the photo cell option.

This was a replacement 1 for 1 from a previously-failed unit. !st unit purchased and installed in October 2021. It lasted until early January 2022. Returned the original unit because the clock function failed - it kept losing 15 minutes per day. Checked the inlet voltage supply with my meter and it was 121 VAC steady. Replacement unit arrived , installed and this time it failed within 1.5 months of installation. The internal power supply in the unit died. No function at all. Return date window was 2 weeks ago so no refund or replacement. My old-time analog unit is still working from 1994. I repeat DO NOT BUY newer model Malibu lighting timers.

I went online to get info on this product and discovered that Malibu went out of business several years ago. I'm not sure what that means and wonder why their products are still on the market...The unit works as advertised. After I got it installed, I opened the door and discovered that one of the hinge pins had fallen out. It's magnetically held shut, so it still kind of works. If I had discovered this before I got it installed, I would have sent it back.
