During the past few weeks, I was able to finally put the controller to test as we had some heavy rains. Earlier in the summer I had used only the press the switch down for a single swipe (works fine – both wipers) but this time we had intermittent and heavy rains.The intermittent works for a minute or so, then by itself switches to ON LOW SPEED, the after a while one wiper or the other will stop intermittently in its park position (maybe for a minute or so), then start up again. When in this condition, the wipers will not stop when pressing down on the switch. Or, I should say, not right away, they will continue to run for a while (maybe a minute or two) before finally stopping.The wipers do seem to work correctly through the various speed stages in the beginning of the cycle chosen but then will revert to stopping one side or the other, followed by the inability to shut them off. Although as I mentioned they will eventually stop, but who knows how long that may take.In one instance I had to disconnect the power to get them to stop.According to support at Marinco, the current rating of Wexco 4R2.12R110CEB wiper motors (the model in my boat) is 10 amps but the Dual Speed Wiper Motor Controller can only handle up to 6 amps.Make sure your wiper motors do not draw more than 6 amps! And even if they are 6 amp I don't know that this will solve the problem.The Wexco wiper is rated at 10amp at maximum load, so I would assume that they would draw much less under no load... maybe only 6amp.I do not recommend this product.

This did not work as dual wiper controller in a car, might be ok on a boat. Ended up discarding them.
