Great material, but the buttons are too small or the button holes are too big, either way the buttons come open while I’m just walking around when wearing this shirt. Other than that the material is exactly what I was looking for.

Love this shirt. It fits so well and wears beautifully albeit a little long (I'm a little pudgy and this fits and compliments my figure very very well). The fabric is a little thin and I already got a hole in the side which makes me very sad considering the cost of the shirt. I'd love to buy more but with how fragile the shirt appears to be my use case, hiking and travelling mainly, doesn't really work.

Shirt is great. Fits well and is light weight. Hangs well on my body.

Wears comfortable. However, after a few days the shirt looks 'worn'. I wonder how it will look like when it gets washed. The worst part is that the buttonholes are so big that the shirt opens 'naturally' all the time. I ended up sewing the holes shut...

I am a 78-year-old nerd with a CPA background. I usually just wear dress shirts and don't need a large variety. I could never go into a clothing store and know what I was looking for. I use Amazon for reviews, ideas and fast delivery since they have a distribution center in Phoenix.I wanted something that would look sharp in hot Summers and when I travel to cooler/colder cities like Toronto.I found the idea of Merino Wool attractive and like smoothness of touch. So far am very pleased.I wonder how many folks find the safety pin where the label is attached that I wondered if would scratch your neck. Was surprised since don't think seen this before on shirts, although haven't bought any new for about 5 years. You have to work it out of the "More Wool Less Plastic" strip after opening the pin. Maybe everyone knows this but seemed odd to me so got it off before I put it on.I also carry a notepad with a pen, so I'm only interested in shirts with pockets—no, I'm not old enough to use a pocket protector—I even forgot the term.I would have preferred the buttons to be black to match the black shirt color, but I guess maybe that is a more modern style.Again, with my old ways, I hate shirts that hang down over your belt; they look sloppy, in my view. I always tuck in shirts.Despite these nitpick issues, I am still very pleased with the shirt for the reasons that most folks state in positive reviews.

The fabric quality is high, no itch factor and a soft supple drape similar to silk. I have a V-shaped torso and monkey arms and appreciate how the arms and bottom are cut longer. The shoulders are generous and bottom width is somewhere between relaxed and slender. The sleeves are finished with a simple hem and visible wide stiching similar to nylon athletic wear, something I've never seen in a collared shirt. This, combined with the drape and white buttons make the shirt casual. However, the dark color and collar make it dressy enough to be versatile. Since Merino wool is so forgiving be worn a lot with no smell, this is a three season shirt you can wear for a whole weekend away and get away with it.

Wore this shirt day in/day out on a recent long trip. Stays fresh and attractive for days. The thin fabric keeps it surprisingly cool and comfortable in warm weather and makes washing and hang-drying a breeze. On the bad side, sleeve length is for Orangutans and the thin/light material comes at a cost - holes develop. Despite that, I’m impressed enough to buy another.
