Nice cargo pants! The sizing is good. They are nice and long. The pockets are awesome. I like the back pockets are not directly in the back cheeks but off to the side so you can put things in them and still sit. There is a d-ring above each front pocket that you can attach keys, pocketknife, etc to. The fabric is thick as in durable and still breathable.

These are pretty good work pants. They have several pockets and they have an interesting design for the rear pockets. Rather than the typical design, you access them from the side. This makes it easier to reach the contents of your back pocket and also allows you to store slightly larger objects than you would normally. The downside of this design is that there is nothing holding items in - no button, zipper, or velcro to keep things closed which means it's really easy for items to fall out.The pants are warm and comfortable to wear and I really like the elastic stretch waist, but I didn't like the exterior material. It feels like plastic and sounds strange while walking. I assume it will help with water resistance but I didn't test that. One of the biggest design frustrations for me was the cargo pockets. They are the smallest pockets I've ever seen in cargo pants/shorts. My wallet barely fits and only if I put it in vertically. Every other pair of cargo pants or shorts that I own could fit 3 of my wallet in one pocket with room to spare. These are so small they're almost worthless imo. They're easy to wash and I didn't notice any shrinkage after washing. Overall, these are good pants, but they're a little overpriced in my opinion given some of the issues and limitations.

These pants come vacuum sealed, but the packaging is easy to open, just like opening a sandwich baggie. These pants are comfortable to wear, the velcro is strong, and the zipper feels durable. The one good thing is that the sizing is correct as these pants fit like my other brand pants that are the same size. There is plenty of room in the rear pockets as they are pretty deep, and the tops are slanted to put stuff, which is good. The side cargo pocket on the right isn't as wide as the one on the left. The left cargo pocket is as wide as another brand pants that I wear, but while the right cargo pocket measures approximately 5.5" wide. I can still slide my hand in the pockets with ease, but I never owned pants before where the side cargo pockets weren't the same size.In conclusion, these pants are good for running errands, hiking, range days, etc. They aren't too light or too heavy, which makes them a good year-round pant. The D rings along the waist line are nice to hang keys, ID badges, etc. I wish the side cargo pockets were the same width, but these pants are comfortable, so in the end, that is what matters.

These pants run a little large. I ordered them for my bf as work pants, and I would say the material is more like a hiking pant than a work pant. The design and the pockets really feel more like work pants however, so he will be using them to work around the house (for as long as they last). They wash and dry easily and without issue. No shrinkage or color bleeding.

**update** love these pants they’ve quickly become my hands down favorite pair. Back pockets are so handy - from stuffing mail to holding lanyards of stuff in other pockets - also the smaller leg pocket is super convenient for a wide variety of uses much handier imo than the ones on carpenters pants for day to day items. Highly recommend.********* original review:For tactical pants off the internet I’m really pleased with these. Much better fit than expected - honestly I’ve never had luck with any pants labeled “tactical” but these seemed worth a shot. I’m probably a 41 waist at the moment - I go from a 38 to every few years maybe a 43. Most of my pants are 40’s and snug or 42’s and need a belt if I have my phone keys wallet in pockets. So I requested 42’s thinking they should at least let me squeeze into them - shockingly I kind of need a belt full time. Which is fine I usually wear one. I think I could have ordered the 40’s and been perfectly comfortable. So that’s great. So I'm 6'1, about 260lbs at the moment, and got the 40x30's. Length is perfect for me I always get stuck buying 32's and the heels always end up ripped out. These are a *slightly* roughish feeling pant - I think it’s a similar tactile feel as denim if you close your eyes - but they’re lighter and more comfortable. The overall fit is good - the one thing I notice, and more so without a belt on, is that my thighs just above the knee seem to have more contact with the front of these pants than my other pants. Without a belt that seemed to increase the likelihood that I’d have the plumbers crack situation going on; with a belt it’s not an issue. But yeah, it kind of always feels like I’m “walking into” these pants above the knee. It’s not tight or uncomfortable though, I’m probably just a little used to what I’m used to and noticed it.The pockets are a mesh-type fabric. It’s a super fine mesh I do think there’s little like pin-holes for breathing but it’s not like stuff snags on them. They’re soft, but they don’t seem flimsy yet. They function like any other pocket with keys pocket knife phone wallet etc being carried. The phone sized carpenter pocket is something I’ve had on other pants and really enjoyed - I’m still trying to remember it’s there on these, but that kind of says my other pockets work well enough to not have to rely on it. What’s very unusual are the half-side half-back pockets. I don’t dislike them at all and think I might like them. I keep forgetting to try and get my wallet out while driving but it seems like that’s the type of access you could get - like your hand goes in right behind the front pocket and they swoop back and end up in kind of the usual spot? They’re nice and deep so I’ve yet to have my wallet want to come out or anything. The cargo pockets are palm sized - which is new for me but you won’t end up with a fist punching around your pocket searching the corners with these - stick your extended palm in and you’ve reached everything already, but they’re big enough. Hook and loop on both ends secures them.I hadn’t planned on it but wore these weed eating and was thinking “great gonna stain my new pants right away” but that was not the case at all! Thick spring grass and after a brush-off you’d never know. Must be the water resistance but in time that will break down. These are super comfortable you can wear them to lounge around or they’re sharp enough looking to wear out most places. The elastic in the waist doesn’t look like an 80 year should be wearing it, but it adds an extraordinary amount of comfort. It’s also all contained there’s no straps you can snag and have to re-stitch or anything like that.I’m a fan and will probably buy again after giving these a few more months. Should my product experience change I’ll come back and add a clear edit to the top of my review and adjust rating if necessary.

$40 is more than I usually spend on pants, but I also default to the old-time basic work pants and rotate several pairs and it’s not accidental that on sale those are super economical. After a few years though I needed to change things up a little. For the additional cost these offer a lot of benefits that I feel are worth it.
