I'm an avid fisherman, and over the years I've grown tired of getting sunburned and have transitioned to wearing light long sleeve/leg clothing. I ordered these lightweight pants because they fit the description of what I want to use when I'm out on the boat for a long summer day.I'm a 6'-1", 220lb male with a little bit of a "dad bod", and my pants length is a 34. These lightweight pants fit me really well (not too tight or too baggy). Additionally, the leg length is long enough that it covers my ankles to the top of my shoes when standing up.In addition to the pockets on each side, the right rear pocket includes a zipper (which is where I typically keep my wallet).The waist of these pants is your typical bungee/expandable band that is comfortable. The drawstring for the band actually has a little bit of bungee feel to it also, which is a little self-defeating. While wearing these pants I've had to re-tie the drawstring a few times, but it's possible this issue will got away after a few uses and cycles through the wash.Overall I'm pleased with these pants and will likely buy a few different colors since they are so competitively priced.

This review is for the Mens Hiking Pants Lightweight Quick Dry 3 Pockets Travel Fishing Water-Resistant Athletic Workout Sweatpants:- I'm 5'10" / with a 31 inch waist and 32 inch inseam. I ordered these in the Medium size, and the this is just about perfect.- They are just like many other athletic pants offered, with a stretchy poly / spandex material. So not quite what I would call a hiking pant.- They are quite thin, so good for warmer weather.- They do have kind of a cheap look to them, not the most appealing in my opinion.- Overall just an OK pair of fitness pants.- Price is fair, compared to similar pants in this category.- Just kind of a misleading description as they are touted for hiking.- Not recommending them for hikers, but may be good as lounge pants.

I bought these for my husband for our upcoming vacation this summer. I wanted something lightweight and comfortable but look put together for travel. These fit the bill and my husband loves them. They appear to be a little loose on him but he likes the way they fit. If you want a closer fit, go for a smaller size.
