This Metabo framing nailer was purchased specifically to build a custom 10' X 12' shed that my wife requested (she-shed). These days, with lithium-powered everything, people are plunking down good money to pay for products that function increasingly well with no power cords or air hoses attached, leaving pneumatic tools like the Metabo nailers on fire sale.Yes, the battery powered tools are very convenient, but if you're like me, you'll use a tool like this once every 2-3 years. When you need it, it's wonderful to have. When you don't need it, you put it into storage for long stretches of time. If you own a battery-powere framing nailer, and your battery pack is not compatible with a family of tools that use the same battery, then you'll likely need to replace it every 5 years, regardless of the frequency of use.During the construction of my wife's she-shed, this nailer performed incredibly well. It was easy to adjust, it never jammed, and with proper maintenance, I expect it to last another 10-15 years with almost no added cost. Lubricant cost is negligible, and I've already amassed thousands of Metabo nails for future projects down the road.Buy this pneumatic nail gun, and you'll have a stout, super reliable pneumatic nailer for the long-haul.
