I am generally skeptical of new inventions, but I gave this a try. I was attracted to the zero-play feature, as my shop is in the garage and subject to lot of moisture and temperature swings. This product has worked great. The instructions aren't great, but to some degree it's pretty intuitive.

I thought this would be good for my cheap table saw but it didn't fit ... my mistake I didn't fully read the info before buying ..

I didn't notice the size of the bar (nor did I know the size of my miter slots) when I ordered this. So I am sending this back and replacing it with the kit without the bar. The product is awesome and works great, even though I needed to make my own track (or buy a different one from someone else).

Very comprehensive kit. First thing I built after building my router plate insert for my table saw extension. Haven’t used it for any project yet but saw the value in having it to complement my table saw and crosscut sled.

The idea of having a sliding sled to make difficult and accurate cuts on a table saw is very appealing. What you get with this kit in my opinion is minimal for the cost. You have to make the sled itself which requires a degree of skill. The dovetail slots you cut, according to the directions, say can be done with a standard dovetail cutter. That is true but Zeroplay makes a modified cutter for about $25.00 that would likely fit the sliding plastic pieces better. The plastic piece that is adjustable to fit your miter slot is not that long. Adding a second one would be better. I could not get the fence and stop tight enough to prevent them from slipping. To solve the problem, I added self-adhesive sandpaper to both pieces. They now work well. Again in my opinion, a experienced woodworker could make their own sled and use a manufactured miter bar or shop made. Then use a t-slot cutter with carriage bolts with plastic knobs or wing nuts.

The Zeroplay 360 Sled Kit is a good product; I am happy with my new sled. The design is good for rips, cross-cuts, and miters on relatively short boards. I had hoped to be able to make three- or four-foot long bevel rips too, but the single miter bar does not stay in my saw's miter slot long enough. I ordered an additional Zeroplay miter bar to install behind the current bar, extending the capacity and strengthening angular rigidity of the sled.
