I recommend getting a set of extra vehicles (emergency are favorites in my house). The car that comes with the set runs on 2, as opposed to 3 for the separate vehicles, and there's a noticeable difference in speed and power. My 9 year old grandson requested these for his birthday as he remembered a set he had a few years ago that was donated. He and his 5 year old brother abandoned their tablets and soccer ball to spend hours having fun with this over the weekend!

Everything they claim is true. Our 6-year-old grandson snaped the tracks together quickly, making designs from the differing colors and the cars stay put when racing!! Some of the suggested tracks don't really work, but that doesn't matter, create your own. We set the tracks on low pile carpet and it still worked well. We bought two sets so the cars could race - and it made for a better, longer or more curved track. I'd suggest two different color cars in each. We bought the police car set and the green car set. Highly recommend.

Bought this for my grandson for xmas. They are interchangeable with other brands. My grandsons loved them as I bought several different ones so they would all have different cars. One car started slowing down right away, but the actual issue was that they had ran them on the carpet instead of tracks resulting in hair in the wheels. Make sure they keep them on tracks!

Not only was my 7-year-old nephew thrilled with this, I also got him the extra cars (Mindscope Neo Tracks Additional Car Pack Set of 2). To date, after 5 months, he hasn't been able to break them or the tracks! He loves that the tracks glow in the dark. He can sit for hours playing alone or with friends. A great gift to engage future Indy 500 drivers!

Cute for a young child. I can't give it 5 stars. When I put the battery in (which involves unscrewing the battery cover and then screwing it back in), I couldn't turn it off. Maybe you can turn it off, and I'm just too dense to understand, but I don't think so. So it just runs until the battery dies or until you get out your screwdriver to take the battery back out. That's ridiculous. Who makes a toy like this that won't turn off? These guys! Also, it gives off the smell of overheated electronics right away. Not great.

Great for entertaining kids of all ages (captivated my son of 1.5 years all the way up to my husband). Its flexible and can be moved as the car drives on the track into different shapes and such.The only reason it didn't get five stars was of a few minor details.1. Based on the pictures I assumed the track itself was a "glow" track, but it is not. The car isn't even able to light up the track like the pictures suggest.2. The track is a bit flimsy. Very thin plastic.3. I've seen variations of this on QVC and on those brands you could lift the track slightly and the car could still go over the hill. This set is incapable of that feature. Not a deal breaker but I was a bit bummed because I thought it would be cool to make hills and such along the track.Overall its a great piece that keeps on entertaining. Its easy to use and fun to make patterns with the different color tracks.

Great fun! Bought for Christmas, the car kept going and going and going. The only thing is the track when pulled apart, can be fragile. I found a few small bits broken off the sides of the connectors.

My nearly 2 year old son thinks these are pretty awesome. I have to admit, they are thin plastic and I was expecting silicone or something, but they do work well. The light up police car is great with all the flashing lights. With new batteries the at goes fast! Batteries do not last that long. It comes with quite a bit of track, that as shown in the picture we like two smaller tracks. Great little toy for a boy who loves cars!

These are the third set of trucks that I have ordered . I have given them to each one of my grandsons . The littlest one received his two weeks ago he is 2 1/2 years old . He loves them and they take the punishment that a 2 1/2 year-old child will give them . They are super easy to put together and the trucks are super easy for a young child to put on the tracks . If you have a grandson or granddaughter who loves trucks this is the toy to get

Brought for my grandson for Xmas and he loves it so much he played with it all day loved above all his presents so much fun and very robust toy, the car stays on the track and the track is easy to set up and use. Great fun for any age played by 2 year old up to a 70 year old suits any age.
