Ik heb inmiddels op alle 8 computers vingerafdruk. Deze losse vingerafdruk werkt prima. De ingebouwde willen nog wel eens problemen hebben of een slechte scan. Ik ben daar eigenlijk pas dit jaar mee begonnen omdat MS in al zijn wijsheid de scan uitschakelt in het register en dan kun je proberen wat je wilt maar hij doet het gewoon niet. Per toeval struikelde ik toen over een artikel welke register wijziging je moet toepassen. Als je dat eenmaal gedaan hebt werkt het als een trein. Bij voorbeeld: Ik heb een computer links op het bureau staan. De usb poorten zijn verticaal dus de reader komt ook verticaal (korte zijde boven en beneden) in de aansluiting. Ik heb de vingers van mijn linkerhand gescand. Als ik bij starten even de vingerprintscanner aanraak ben ik ingelogd. Werkt minstens zo goed als mijn telefoon.
