I bought it to be used on my niece's Strider balance bike and she loved it. I had to use some rubber as spacers to install on the Strider bike because the handlebar was too thin but in the end, it is working fine and she loves it.The Colour is quite accurate and it rings fine, the plastic is nice quality and it seems it will survive for the next bike.

My daughter loves this new bell and the sound should be more than adequate to serve as a warning signal. Much better than the "hidden bell" that we also purchased.

I was torn between this and the Crane Riten Brass Bell. But the Crane was (at the time of this review - June of 2019) more than twice the price of the Mirrycle. According to reviews, both use brass domes but the dome diameter of the Crane bell was about twice the size of the Mirrycle (~ 2.25" vs 1.3"). However, on my bike size DOES matter: I did not want a big accessory hanging off my already crowded handle bars and the Mirrycle's small size fits very well. I have it positioned right next to my left grip so it is readily accessible by my left thumb. And then there is the sound: Wow! I was not sure what to expect from this product in terms of sound, fit and finish but I am very well pleased with everything. The sound really is nice but there is no way to communicate what I mean by "nice" here and I am not disposed to posting a video. But I will say that for each operation of the thumb, the bell is struck only two times: once on the press of my thumb: DING!), and once on its release: DING!. That's it: there is no multiple striking of the dome so it does not produce a Drrrrrrriiiing - Drrrrrrriiiing sound as you may hear in a more traditional bike bell (forgive my limitations here in communicating what I mean about how it sounds. I also did not want a bell that used a clamp which can scratch the handle bars or force me to apply some kind of wrapping to prevent it from being scratched. In my opinion anything that goes on a set of handle bars should be DESIGNED to NOT scratch it and certainly NOT depend on the customer to cover such a failure for the manufacturer (again my opinion). This product came with a robust plastic mounting ring that fits perfectly where I have it located AND it will not damage the bike. One improvement I would like to see is for this product to use a stainless steel screw on the mounting clamp ring instead of the non stainless type it used from the factory. I will replace the stock screw with a stainless one at my next trip to the hardware store.I would recommend this product to anyone who wants a quality item and willing to pay a bit more for it. Remember; The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten (not sure who deserves the credit for that last line but I did not originate it yet it sure makes sense to me. Be smart, be safe and have fun.

I did a TON of research on a new bell for my bike and decided to buy this one. Money is no object. I just wanted a good bell.I had one of those old bring-bring style bells. But it broke - I rang the crap out of it. It was made of cheap plastic internal components. I knew it was going to break when I got it. But I needed something and it was the only one that the store had.Earlier than that, I had a single ding - with a thumb hammer. They are small look cool and are well made. The downside is that they are perfect for making someone say "Oh, what a pleasant ring sound. Let me stop, turn around, and see what make such a melodious sound." It's not the "Get the heck out of my way" effect that you want. So, single-ding no more. The Mirrycle Incredibell Brass Duet is not the classic bring-bring ring. It has more of a ding-din'ng. Not a doorbell but two rings. You can ring it fast and it makes a decent amount noise -- to tell people to get the heck off the trail - I AM COMING TROUGH. Or you can do a gentle "ding" to let them know you're on their left.WARNING - I did read that there are counterfeit versions of this. So, probably best to buy it from Amazon vs some shady reseller. You'll know if it's counterfeit if it costs $2.000 and when you get it sounds more like a thud thud than a ding ding.

Empaque adecuado.

I really like the sound of this bell, it rings twice and it's nice and clear. Shipping took a few weeks, but that expectation was set from the beginning. The size of the clamp was actually too small for the handlebars on my road bike, but it fit nicely onto the middle piece. The mechanism to sound the bell feels nice and crisp as well.

I purchased two different bells and was very happy with both. The first was the . The fact that it was made in Japan and the great reviews about its real brass sound quality was the reason I purchased it. I really love the resonance of the bell. The only problem was that I felt like I wanted it to sound off more than once, and the system is a little slow to flick a few times rapidly because of the long strike. If you want just a single note, this bell is awesome. The bell is easy to put on, but more bulky than the Incredibell Duet.On the other hand THIS Brass Colored Incredibell Duet sounded very good too, I was surprised to learn that it was also made in Japan. Compared to the Crane Suzu it is not as loud and the resonance is not as long and beautify... however it is easier to install, smaller, and had exactly what I wanted, a quick firing ding dong (2 notes - one on the pull and the other on the release of the strike) sound that can be flicked several times in quick succession.I ended up buying and keeping both, installing them on both of my bikes. I'm very happy with them as they are excellent, you just need to know what kind of sound you want out of your bell. I think the Duet's sound is more like a bicycle bell, and will not confuse people as you attempt to pass them. After I purchased both bells I stopped by a bicycle store and noticed they had both colors of the Duet, in chrome and brass. The chrome sounded almost the same, I was surprised... if not the same. So if you want a silver look instead of brass, I don't think you will be sorry. The sound on all the bells was really nice.If you're deciding between the two, I think the Duet is slightly better because it does the job as a bicycle bell better. The fact that is about $5 less, is a bonus... but was not a factor for me.
