Great bell for my Mountain Bike. Nice ring and it doesn't take up much space on the handlebar. Looks to be of high quality and should last a long time.

This bell really sets off the classic build on my 1997 Trek 800 Mountain Track. I went with the brass finish. Crisp, clean bell sound. Easy to install. Just loosen the bell head to adjust the lever, then tighten it to keep that position

A pleasing high sound which persists a little after you ring it. Well-made, grips the handle well via a suitable non-slip fitting. The pitch is good for warning most children and adults, pets etc, but some elderly people evidently can't hear it - it's too high-pitched for them in their old age.

This is a great addition to our ebike, which came with a horn that sounds more like an electrical malfunction. This bell rings loud and true! It is a little bit more bulky than smaller options, but I like the way to attaches to the handle bar and think it sounds great.

This Bell has a very nice sound and is made in the USA. Not sure how well it installs because I have not received my E bike yet. Still on order. I will update this if the belt fits.

The King of Ding is a thing of beauty. Sure it is only a bike bell but if you are going to make something why not make it the best you can? Not only does it look sound it sounds sound too. I like it.Not only that, I had a 'senior moment' regarding fitting the bell so I emailed the company and they replied within minutes without sarcasm. This is the kind of business practice that should be encouraged, so here I am encouraging it.

The brass bell itself is lovely and a good size. The part you pull and release that hits the bell is a bit too light. It would ring much louder if there were a heavier piece. Nonetheless, it produces a good-enough volume to get the job done in light traffic. I will try and add some weight to the trigger mechanism

Nice, easy to install bell. Sturdy construction. Reasonably loud.

No nonsense solid brass old school loud bell that will last a lifetime with its all-metal construction.

I previously owned PDW's original "King of Ding" brass, bike bell, and it was a great little bell. But the "King of Ding II" adds a better striker, for a clear loud ring and it looks great. It's steam-punk-inspired, appearance fits right in with my cruiser-style bike. While I was riding on a shared bike/pedestrian trail -- a walker actually complemented me in the nice, "peaceful" ding of my bell. She said it warned her without alarming her. It doesn't get any better than that, in my opinion. Darrel Dickson

I bought this bell because I wanted something with some character. This bell has it, nice to look at, engraved with the PDW log, and it sounds really cool. Bad news is that I had to return it because it didn't fit the diameter of my bars. Too bad, cuz like I said, this bell is really cool and has way more character than all the generic cookie cutter bells out there. Hopefully in the future they will make some bells that fit larger diameter bars like those on cross bikes since so many people choose to ride bikes with larger diameter bars for their commuter bikes.

Very well made bell, but not quite loud enough.
