Mine should have been sold as a factory second because the enamel is flawed in one area for about 2 inches. Luckily, it's not going to make it more likely to chip, nor does it have a functional impact, so I decided to keep it given the price I paid (~130). But if you are buying this for a gift, inspect it well. You may have to exchange it.2. Was surprised it didn't come with the little rubber clips to keep the lid slightly off the pot during storage. Helps to make sure moisture isn't retained in a stored pot (rusting the unenameled edges) and helps protect against chips. If Lodge can include them at a fraction of the price Misen charges, so can Misen. Not a dealbreaker, obviously, but disappointing given the price.Pros:It's a great braiser! Has an 11" cooking surface which makes it great for searing large pieces of meat or making large batches of meatballs, reducing sauces quickly, etc. You can feed a crowd with this pot!Light colored interior makes it easy to keep an eye on browning progress.It's very heavy (18lbs empty) and I find it takes a little longer to heat up than my Dutch ovens, but it heats evenly and stays hot for quite some time.Has nice large, looped handles that you can grip securely even with oven mitts. Knob on the lid is also large enough to handle easily with mitts.Lid is heavy and fits securely to minimize escape of moisture.Finish is super-easy to clean inside and out with a wet soapy cloth. Not technically non-stick, but it's non-stick in practice.It's a beautiful pan too, so you can bring it to the table for serving if you wish.

I have many items from this company and all have met my expectations. I have this braiser, stainless steel pots and pan, non stick pots and pans, silicon utensils and all are top notch and high quality..Pros, quality, finish and price.Cons, nothing I've seen yet or disliked about this braiser or any items I've bought.

I received the cover with defects. Instead of writing a bad review, I reached out to the company for a replacement cover that had no pin holes in the enamal coating. I was told to take it up with Amazon since it was recently purchased from there. It was sold from Misen through Amazon, the company should have solved the issue. I don't want to worry about rust forming inside the cover through the holes causing more damage inside the enamel or worse, getting ill.Here was their reply to me:"Thank you for reaching back out. Since it was just purchased recently, we would highly recommend that you reach out to Amazon so they can further assist you.Please don't hesitate to reach back out if there's anything else we can assist you with!All the best,Dianne"I sent it back for a full refund. I won't buy Misen again.

Got this pan on a prime day deal and I love it. It cooks evenly and is easy to clean. The enamel coating is substantial and seems like it will stand up well to regular use. My only comment is that Amazon repeatedly sent me the wrong color and neither Amazon nor Misen could fix the issue. I'm annoyed that the pan is blue, not the gray I ordered, but it's a first world problem.

I replaced the silver knob that came with this braiser with an Le Creuset gold knob just becuz I have a Le Creuset Dutch Oven that is pink and it has a gold knob and I wanted them to match. The knob that comes with this pot is 5x the weight of the le creuset and seems super high quality and durable. I just got this pot so I dont know how it will hold up over the long term durability wise but so far it has made an AMAZING chicken paprikash. And its shockingly inexpensive compared to the 3x-4x the price tag Le Creuset dutch ovens. These kitchen aid oven mitts are the EXACT same shade of green as the braiser. I HIGHLY recommend those too. They are also sold on amazon I got green to match this braiser and pink or "rose" to match my pink le creuset, soooo cute.
