Solid, clear as daylight.Be 10000000% sure your existing scope is zeroed perfectly before adjusting the magnifier and pairing it with the existing.IF NOT, you will waste plenty ammo.Monstrum has increased in value and quality, I will definitely be looking at their other products as well.

Received opened package with scratches on outside of optic and smudges along the scope and glass. Updated review: Smudges came off easy. The magnifier is actually pretty nice. I compared to sigs Romeo and Juliet combo which had terrible eye relief. This magnifier did not have that issue. This magnifier has good eye relief. Doesn’t line up perfectly with my trijicon mro but it lines up well enough to be used accurately. If the package came new and sealed I would give it 5 stars. Just left a bad taste in my mouth having it be opened and clearly used.

So the cons-Didn’t come with the two spacers to raise the height. Came with the wrong Allen key.Pros- fit and co-witnessed, no adjustment needed. The folding part is crisp and really locks in place( I expected it to be flimsy at best). Sight picture is amazing and clear.

I have this magnifier mounted in front of a primary arms slx 1x micro prism, mounted right up at the forward end of the upper receiver. Tight fit with a magpul mbus sight, 1x micro prism, and this magnifer; but it works and there is some space between micro prism and magnifier. It works as intended and I didn't have to use the spacers to change the mounting height as the primary arms micro prism is also at 1.5" height.I see a review complaining about eye relief and another about field of view. The one complaining about eye relief used this magnifier incorrectly, it goes in front of your optic not behind like a traditional magnifer. I have no issues with eye relief, its the same with or without the magnifier, no change in eye / head position. As for field of view, there is a reduction. It's similar to zooming in with a scope where there is a reduction in field of view.I tried a monstrum ghost ultracompakt 3X micro magnifier, but it didn't work out for me. Could not get proper eye relief or sight picture with any amount of adjusting the diopter. Might work out better behind a red dot or holographic sight. It did work when I mounted it in front of the optic, but I had to mount it to the rail which is not ideal. Returned and bought this 2x forward mount magnifier. For those looking at this 2x forward magnifier hoping that it will magnify the reticle (dot, crosshair, etc..), it will not. It can only magnify what it see's and since it mounts in front of the optic, it doesn't see the optic and can't magnify it.

Excellent quality for the price, optics are very good. A little bigger than expected but still fairly compact. Having unlimited eye relief is wonderful but the field of view is a little bit limited. The mount is robust, steady, and securely snaps into both positions without movement. Has oddball spacing on the mounting hardware which eliminates the possibility of using a FTC mount. Has to be zeroed rather than just centered which allows a second long range zero.

Was reluctant to purchase this magnifier with its new design and low price. After receiving it, however, I realized the forward position is so much better than the rear mount magnifier position. It lined up perfectly with my Primary Arms Slx micro prism scope without needing any of the included adapter plates, the quality of the glass is excellent, and the forward position eliminates eye relief problems. The short design takes up minimal rail space, and the pivoting mount is sturdy and works well. Makes all the other manifiers obsolete. Great product!

I have a Swampfox Blade prism optic with 1x (so no) magnification and I've been wanting a way to add magnification for the rare longer distance shot I might take with the rifle that optic is mounted so I was intrigued when I stumbled on this forward magnifier. This magnifier seems to be made of quality materials and has a nice finish, the mount fits solidly and the screws for mounting felt strong (I didn't feel like they were at the point of stripping and didn't fear really tightening them down). It did take a bit to zero it in, there was a big difference between my optic zero and the zero with the magnifier in use but once zeroed it held nicely and worked great. I love the swing mount, no button to push when swinging out or back in, just swing it. It holds firmly yet doesn't take a lot of force to swing it and feels really solid with no wiggle or play in the hinge/pivot. When I bought my prism optic, I didn't want one with a fixed 3x or 5x magnification, for normal use I prefer no magnification but it is really nice to be able to add the 2x now and then.I'm really happy with this magnifier and I do recommend it. I'm probably going to buy another one for use with the LPVO I have on another rifle so I can bump it's 1-6x out to a 1-12x when needed.
