I’ve never had a bad scope from Monstrum. As far as Amazon brands go, Monstrum in general does great. This scope is no different. Glass is pretty good. The reticle is nice and the illumination is crisp. The overall fit and finish of this scope is really nice. My only gripe is that the glass is that it gets a little dark at max magnification and the eye box is pretty small. But for the price, the scope is still really good

This is a really nice scope. Very high-powered, with all of the accuracy settings you need for wind, drop, and distance. Very easy to pick up your target and adjust the lens for shooting.

So I’m not gonna bore you with all the normal stuff. Build quality: very good, weight: average, size compared to competitors: good. Seems a bit shorter compared to other scopes in this range. That’s a good thing, at least to me.Clarity and eye relief see below.Ok, that’s about it for positives.Take this review with a grain of salt. It’s just my opinion.Turrets: mushy and inaccurate between marks. Windage knob: good. Elevation: not good. Mushy. Marks don’t line up.All knobs texturing feel decent.Scope mounts: as expected. Throw them away.Borat lens caps. If you know you know.Ok, the reticle: Good if you plan on using it up to 10x. Yes, only 10x. Comically oversized beyond that. I mean if you’re just getting your gong on then it might be ok but if you want some precision you’re out of luck. It’s just huge. When zoomed to 30x it’s by far the largest reticle I have ever seen. At least on a scope that’s targeting more of a precision crowd. It illuminates, don’t care.Clarity of glass is actually quite decent.Eye relief is actually very good!So that’s about it. It’s really close to being a solid budget scope.Did I mention the size of the reticle? HUGE!THE END.Hope this helps someone.

The Monstrum Challenger 5-30x56 FFP Rifle Scope is a decent option, but it comes with some notable drawbacks. While it offers solid features like ED glass, adjustable objectives, and precision turrets with zero stop, the scope becomes quite blurry at higher magnifications. Even with focus adjustments, I couldn’t find a sweet spot to resolve the clarity issues. The inclusion of mounts with a level is appreciated, but there’s no actual level tool to help align the scope with the mounts properly, which feels like an oversight. The scope is on the heavier side, and changing the battery was a struggle—the cap lacks grips and requires significant pressure to replace. Additionally, the eye relief is tricky, and the bezel could be slimmer for the price range.I considered giving 4 stars but felt that the overall user experience needs improvement. I’ve used a similarly priced scope from another brand, which offered a smoother and more intuitive feel. While this is a solid scope with good potential, it falls short in critical areas, keeping it from reaching 4- or 5-star quality.

Buyer beware! 1) This scope isnt ED glass. I own $50-$100 scopes that have clarity. 2) the parallax adjustment makes clarity worse 3) when you zoom in the cross hairs just cover up the visual field. I just sent mine back for a full refund

Have you ever made such a fumbling mistake that you just want to get as far away from it as possible? Well this scope is so huge that it can look into the future, and help you find the time era where everyone has forgotten about that time that you thought cross dressing was cool.
