My son loves these and they’re great for counting and making animal sounds together but my toddler has thrown them around a bit and there’s a few intents and chips in the paint. We have fun with them still! Bright colors and decent stability.

This animal train set is a good tool for teaching toddlers their numbers in a fun and interactive way. With some supervised play, it is also good for learning to count and the order of numbers. I have my daughter match up the train numbers in order while saying the numbers out loud and it's helped her count from 1 to 10 by herself. We also used the train cars to practice counting groups of cars. I would recommend this animal train set for parents who want to help their toddlers learn their numbers.

This is a cute item. My kiddos enjoyed playing with it but if you put all the number animals on the train, the individual cars tend to flip if they make the train go too fast. (And what kid doesn’t do that?) The graphics are very cute and the mat adds a different level to playing with this. I recommend using something to stick the mat down as it slides around. The kids have fun sorting the animals according to the mat. We also use the animals to sing “Old MacDonald” and they put the animals in the train as we sing. Only caveat is the flipping, other than that a fun product.

I am thoroughly pleased with this train set. There are so many things to love about this set! For starters, I love the idea of each train being a different animal. This way I can explain to my toddler which animal is on each car. Now, she knows what all of the animals are, and it’s all thanks to this train set. Not only are they different animals, but they are also each numbered. Because of this, I can ask my daughter to bring me the chicken train, or the number ten train. The trains themselves are of great quality. I love how it is made of wood instead of a hard-hitting metal. The trains all connect with ease thanks to great magnetism. Lastly, the board you can play on is so colorful and fun. This is such an amazing product.

Very cute set of magnetic animal train. The set came with a mat and a carrying case, which I very much appreciated. The train pieces have the same animal printed on both sides, but the number is only on one side. For some pieces, the grains of the wood is so strong that it comes through the images of the animal. None of the wood pieces had nicks or dents, so I had no issues letting my 1.5yr old play with them.
