Not worth the money, very poor quality.

It takes a few times to get the right scanning speed. Since some companies require a perfect scan, use a background that is the same color as the item to be scanned, e.g., if scanning a page that is white, lay the page on a white surface. I have a white clipboard so I put the white paper on it.

Its does a good job of securing the scanner. As far as warmth, thickness goes - my scanner has yet to complain
