The Thales QS2000 Passport Reader is designed to capture data from driving licences, electronic travel and identity documents quickly and reliably in a wide variety of commercial applications.

Just place the ID card or passport onto the flatbed surface, and the QS2000 ID scanner captures crisp images of the document. No need to photocopy documents providing higher security and compliance to GDPR regulations.

The QS2000 ID scanner features a rugged design, no moving parts and internally sealed optical chamber to prevent dust ingress. The glass flatbed is chemically strengthened to withstand heavy use.

Must buy idscan software with a monthly or annual fee. No Software included. Scanner still sitting on the next not being used. Scanner looks nice though.

Device shows up in Windows but you can't do anything with it.Device is unusable unless you buy software to make it work, and the manufacturer will not sell the software directly to you. For our company, we must rely on a vendor who sells us these scanners with the appropriate software installed and hope they will "unlock" ours.
