Level drilled posts: This aluminum cable railing post is designed for 36" residential cable railing projects. It is pre-drilled with 10 pairs of level holes to work on horizontal sections and save your labor. It can act as both structural end post and middle post in LEVEL sections. Tip: The post Top is closer to the hole
For coastal projects: This black cable railing post is made of quality aluminum with great rust resistance to work for a long lifetime. This material allows it to work on the seaside or in highly salty areas
Code Compliance: This structural square post is designed with 3" cable spacing. Generally, the span between two structural posts should not exceed 4 feet in order to pass the 4" sphere test. But it could be increased to 7 feet if you add a stabilizer post between them. Please search Muzata PD72 to find stabilizer posts to get a broader view. It is important to consult local building offices for the codes since there might be different rules in some states

Love the look of the final project. High end, updated and does not interfere with our water view! Definitely a learning curve in installing posts, location, etc. Cable install on Stairs were difficult at first - holes were drilled straight in making it difficult to connect cables. Drilled downward / at angle and made it much easier. Would prefer plugs for all holes over the adhesive on the washer - does not always stick well.

The product is a high quality material, but the installation was very difficult since the directions weren't very helpful at all.
