This came in clutch having the extra space on the handle makes all the difference. It’s also flush and doesn’t feel like something bulky on the end.

This adds enough length to make a decent handle on the Sony FX3. Adds more mounting holes. I have had saved on wishlist for a while and ended up catching a good deal on it. I wanted to add a monitor to my camera and this took care of it. Only negative was that it didn’t have any directions but I was able to figure out which way to mount it.

Great value for the money. My camera is much more manageable with this extender setup. The shape of the handle is comfortable in my fingertips, and the extra length is ideal for my grip. It's not heavy, but it has a solid, long-lasting feel to it. Because I can attach a wide variety of optional accessories, the quality of my videos and stills is improved greatly.

J'ai pu tester cette extention et celle de Smallrig, contre toute attente j'ai préféré celle de Neewer. Le petit retour à la fin de la poignet est top ( chose que n'a pas le smallrig).Je pensais garder le smallrig car il paraît plus ergonomique mais en main il est beaucoup trop gros et pas assez marquer pour une bonne prise en main.Bon produit finalement.

I really like this. I also like that the top attachment is a nato rail and can be used with or without the rear extension portion. Everything connects as if made my Sony themselves and it's flush with the original Sony handle. This really shines with the amount of contact points for you to have and making that short stock handle a little longer especially for larger hands.

I own and run the Smallrig version of this piece on my FX3 run-and-gun rig, and it's become a crucial part of my setup as it gives some extra grippable space on the FX3 audio handle, and gives better mounting options up top.This Neewer piece is very clearly modeled after the Smallrig and other such accessories. Like the Smallrig, it's two separate pieces that bolt onto the audio handle. It's also just as well machined and made, with just as much attention to detail. It's a very functional piece.Unlike the Smallrig, it doesn't have the scalloped finger-grips underneath. I really like the finger grips on the Smallrig, and it gives me an extra bit of assurance when I'm operating/holding my rig with one hand.At ~$25, this is significantly cheaper than the $40 Smallrig model. If you don't care about having the finger grips underneath, or if your hand isn't a great fit for the size and spacing of the grips on the Smallrig model, then this is a really great addition to your FX3/FX30 rig, for $15 less.

you can use it for other handles as well as long as the screw holes line up it comes in two pieces so you can use them together or seperate. it also doubles as a nato rail if you have accessories that can use that connection.

I already own the excellent FX3/30 cage from Neewer and hoped that they would release an extension for the XLR handle unit. Here it is! This is another great piece of kit, I love the quality and understated branding on the piece.The XLR top handle unit is an excellent addition to the FX cameras and this extension makes it even better. The handle now fits much more comfortably in the hand and the contoured lip at the end of the handle is an ergonomic (and stylish) addition. There is a cold shoe mount and a whole heap of additional points to add multiple accessories. The extension is well-constructed and lightweight–a definite advantage when adding additional monitors, microphones, etc.

Love this thing! The stock fx3 handle is a tiny bit on the small side. When holding it in my hand, my hand falls off the back of it. Not a deal breaker, but with this little extension, it fits perfect in my hand now. Also love that it adds a cold shot mount on the back while also adding a nato rail to the top, perfect for my monitor to slide on when during interviews.
