These mini camera handles are perfect and I am not sure why they are called mini - I have large hands and they are perfect. Helps get a smoother shot from the camera by widening it a bit and getting both hands involved, so slighlty less shake/movement. Very happy. Highly recommend for basically any handheld camera cage set up.

The design is ergonomic, and the texture is great. They were better than I expected.

These have been attached to my videography cage almost permanently now because they are so comfortable, useful and the ability to really lock them in or angle them really makes these stand out for me when I am doing handheld video recording on my phone or on my Mirrorless setup. Somethings to be aware of though. The length of the attachment points are rather short so if your adding cables you might need to invest in right angle connectors since they might not fit while using these grips. i do wish there was a way to also have a cold shoe on these but for the comfort and ease of use these are some great grips.

These have been a wonderful addition to my camera rig. Works well and the grip is very comfortable. The only negative is the pins. If your camera cage doesn't have holes for the pins, then the grips will eventually come loose and rotate when you hold the camera. The grips won't fall off or anything, but it is a bit annoying that you have to keep tightening them every once in a while. So not the end of the world, but a bit annoying. But if your camera cage has holes for the pins, then you're all set!

I have a bin full of side and top handles/grips; most are larger and more expensive than these, but none are as ergonomic. As it turns out, you don't have to spend an arm and a leg to achieve a comfortable grip.I've used the CaTeFo StarGrips with a phone with cage and a mirrorless camera with cage, and they work very well for both applications. The grips come disassembled, but putting them together entails simply inserting the post into the grip and tightening a hex bolt with the supplied Allen wrench. The StarGrips are sold as a pair, and I recommend you use them that way -- their shape makes them very comfortable to hold, but they can get tiring quickly during one-handed use because they dig into my palm in a way that thicker, less ergonomic grips don't. I won't downrate the product for this, because again, they're sold for use as a pair.Because the post and grip are friction-fit, I have a potential concern when used with larger rigs: I have a tendency to hold my rig at my side by one of the grips when not in use; with a heavier setup, I'd be worried that the StarGrip would slip off of the post even when tightened properly (the interface surfaces between the grip and post are smooth, with no detents to prevent detachment. This is pure speculation on my part and I won't downrate the product for it, but it is something you may want to consider depending on your intended use. As for me, I am perfectly happy with the CaTeFo StarGrips for smaller setups, and I'll pull out the big guns when I need them.

I tried these on a Smallrig camera cage and wanted to like them. I can see the appeal, having two solid grips on either side of the camera certainly feels more stable than the traditional right hand on camera grip and left hand on lens setup. However, these grips moved around no matter how much I tightened down the screws. On the 1/4" screw side, I made sure the locating pins were fully engaged and the main screw was tightened down. On the grip side, however, there appears to be only a single alan key screw with a friction fit around the arms. This is where the movement feels like it is coming from.It never felt as though the grips were going to fall off. But the fact that every time you pick them up you can feel movement doesn't leave you with much confidence. Also, the grips themselves had an odd, almost sticky feeling to them. I cannot tell if this is just something that is from the packaging or if this is how those grips will feel forever. However, compared to other grips I've tried I haven't felt this feeling with similar products straight out of the box.

I was looking for a small, light set of handles for my monitor cage. This one worked out perfectly! The shape of the handles make them easy to hold over long periods of filming. The quality is decent and its held up good after months of use. Highly recommended!
