Used this on a few backpacking trips to get started in the hobby. Kept me pretty warm in the 40s at night. Large enough for my 45lb dog to crawl into the foot box when it got really cold.The synthetic insulation compresses pretty well. The bags materials are pretty comfortable. I had no problem getting quality sleep with a wide (bag width) inflatable sleeping pad. Great for car camping and late spring/early summer backpacking

The photos of the bag show dimensions of 86.4" long and 36.4" wide when opened up, but in reality it is only 74.8" long and 31.5" wide...that is almost 12" shorter and 5" thinner than advertised! Ridiculously large difference!!!
