The plastic seems ok. Mirror itself doesn’t hold in place. Maybe if you never hit a bump ever buy these. Waste of my time

The glass attaches to the plastic that mounts to the truck but the clips are not molded correctly so it never attached firmly. I thought I had finally gotten it attached but when I closed the door the glass popped off the plastic and broke. It's a project truck so I let it sit and I'm 3 days out of my 30 day free prime return and think I'm stuck with a defective mirror. It fit my 96 ram 1500 as far as mounting goes, but quality was lacking in the clip molding. I'll probably have to bug another one and looks like I'll get a different brand that hopefully clips properly

The item showed 2 mirrors and me it’s actually only one mirror, I was finishing up a truck by a certain date and got ready to install mirrors and little did I know right side only

Mirror was fine but it had been opened , obviously a return and should have been sold as such , but ok to me it’s a 2001 work truck

I did have to take the three mounting bolts out of my old mirror and put them in this new mirror. Came with stiffener.

I really like the mirrors. The only thing I would advise is to make sure that you get both mirrors at the same time (if needed) as they are sold separately..Also if you have an electric button on your 98 Dodge or "like model" after you install these, you'll have to adjust your mirrors with your hand...Otherwise great mirrors!! Made my 1500 look even more awesome 😎

Nice, shiny, works as intended. It fits our 2500 Dodge Diesel truck very nicely. Husband got it within 2-3 days, installed it very easily on the same day. We are actually getting ready to replace other side now too since this was a perfect match.
