Like others I ordered an aftermarket carb for my 15yr old Echo PB-251 when its start to leak and like others the $20 aftermarket carb worked a total of two times then started bogging and running rough. No amount of blend screw adjustment would help. Pulled it by off and ordered this $46 OEM Zama brand carb and it runs perfect with no adjustment. I think this price is still a bit lower than dealer prices but I would have paid another $20 anyway to renew this old blower otherwise running great rather than trash it an buy a new one. I shared lots of pictures because at a glance without a side by side you would think these were the same part but comparing side by side you can see the machining, porting and casting of the Zama unit is just superior contributing to better performance. In this case it pays to pay for OEM.

Small engine shop would have charged $100 just to look at my Echo leaf blower. I easily put this carb on, primed it and it ran perfectly! I would opt for the much cheaper knock off however I have no experience th them.

Perfect replacement OEM carburetor for my Echo PB255LN. My blower starts on the first pull again (after pumping the bulb and choking it of course). I don’t trust aftermarket stuff so I don’t mind mind paying a little extra for OEM so I know what I’m getting when it comes to tools. This one was $25 cheaper than from the local dealer so It was a no brainer.Do yourself a favor and buy only OEM parts for your tools.

This carb fixed the problem. Don't settle for the cheap knockoffs, as they just don't work.

On my echo Pb251 blower this was a bolt on fix. I tried a different no name carb with no luck, better to get the original equipment. This one was tuned and works great
