To take off your old wheels from an office chair, just wiggle them a little while pulling at them. They will pop off. These wheels remind me of roller skate wheels. I didn't realize how poorly made my others were until I was able to glide from underneath my desk with these wheels easily. You do have to be a little careful because sometimes they will roll if you move or shift in your chair even slightly. These do light up with the colors shown in the stock photo if you move your chair around (the wheels have to be in motion), but the color is so faint that you don't really even notice, which is disappointing. I wish the lights were much brighter because these would have been perfect for a gaming room. Compared to other rollerblade wheels, I wouldn't pay more for the lights because they are hardly visible at all.

I got these Generic Light Up RGB Office Chair Wheels to replace some other rubber wheels that I had gotten. The old wheels were a double-wheel design similar to the original chair wheels, but they had a hard time changing direction on the hardwood floor and it annoyed me constantly. These are a much better fit for a hard floor and are much smoother at changing direction.These wheels have both ball bearings on the wheel itself as well as on the swivel part. That was another key feature and upgrade from my previous wheels and it makes a huge difference. They are much smoother, totally silent, and the light feature is awesome. One thing to note is the lights only light up when the chair is in motion, which is only when you're pushing it in and pulling it out, but they're still a lot of fun. I randomly got one single blue/yellow light up wheel in my set with the remaining four being RGB like the photos. I actually love the blue/yellow (kind of wish it was a full set of those) but it's kind of cool having one oddball wheel. I imagine this is not the norm and ordering this set will get you 5 of the same, but something to note.Overall I really enjoy these and they are a big upgrade even over my previous wheel upgrade. I love the lights and the smooth operation and couldn't be happier. If you're looking for a wheel upgrade on your office chair, I would highly recommend this set.
