The latch on this item is prett flimsy, I don't expect it to last too long. The canister portion was exactly what I was looking for

I would have given this product a 5 if it had been made with quality hardware. The canister set is great for my husband, who drinks regular, and me who drinks decaf. Unfortunately, the latches are cheap making the canister hard to close.

I love this canister! When I bought it, it was labeled Oggi EZ Grip Regular Coffee Canister, Black, but the picture showed "Decaf". I went out on a limb and purchased it anyway. It was Regular! Woohoo! It is super cute on my counter with the stainless steel/black appliances. It does its job, has an airtight seal, and convenient spoon on the side. I am extremely satisfied and would recommend to a friend. In fact, I might purchase a Decaf and Tea canister because I like it so much!

This replaced a 30 yr old Copco canister that I really loved. The wire around the top is a little flimsy otherwise I like the canister.

I just received the Oggi coffee canister I ordered. It is the third one I have bought. Now I can choose from three different coffees depending on the time of day and my mood. These are very nice canisters, smart looking and very useful. The two I already have have proven themselves to be good at maintaining my coffee's taste and aroma (I use whole beans). I have not even a shadow of a complaint about them. How nice it is to be able to buy what you need without leaving the house!

I got this because I thought it was nice looking in its display pictures. When I received it, however, I was troubled. The clasp is wonky. I don't know if it because on the handle on the side or if the clasps are cheap or what but it's tilted and I am concerned that it is going to break because of the tension. It hold a standard bag of coffee just fine, and the seal work great as far as I can tell, just don't know how long that clasp is going to hold out. I wish it just didn't have the handle so it could have a normal straight clasp. I would suggest looking for something else.

I'm so pleased with this little canister! It keeps the coffee fresh and away from air, light, and moisture in my kitchen. Holds one bag of ground coffee at a time and looks great doing it! I like the spoon on the side, too.Update March 2019:Wow, this thing is still amazing after 8 years! Still sits on my counter and keeps my caffeinated. It’s really an awesome little container.Update July 2024: still going!

I bought this one and the matching decaf canister. Out of the two canisters, the decaf one was the worst. Part of the decaf stickers had come off when manufactured, and someone tried to cover it up with black paint. Also, a nice size spot of black paint on the handle. Soooo cheaply made and not worth it. I was very disappointed and I am returning both canisters. The black one had some imperfections too, scoop is cheaply made. Maybe cute for decoration if you put them up high where no one can see them up close, but I wouldn't recommend for daily use.

These look good, but they do not seal and are not airtight as advertised. I expected truely airtight canisters to keep coffee and tea in....these are going right back to Amazon.The silicon seal is a poor design and will not seal air/liquids. The closing mechanism is cheap and inadequate...it does not align properly and bends easily. The wire loop clasp distorts (bottom of the loop opens) when closed...so much so that it easily slips out of the clasp when pressure is applied during closing. If you're handy, you could probably braise or solder the loop shut to solve that problem; however, that would still not solve the inability to seal.
