I just didn't bother with it again. It was to late to return, engine was still on the stand when I installed. Never the less it still didn't work.

Installed this item but it never worked. Went to Auto Zone and got thier cheapest one and now it works.

I thought I was buying a sensor for the ANALOG oil pressure gauge in the dash board. After installing and attaching the lead wire, the gauge is buried at zero and is trying to sweep the oil pressure needle below 0PSIG. Went through and put in car particulars (1996 Ford Mustang GT, 4.6 liter engine) into the year/make/model..etc part verification and it indicated this was the right sensor. If I selected the wrong part, shame on me...vendor does not understand their products...Very dissatisfied; mike in Arizona

I ordered this product which looks just like the original but it does not work. My oil pressure gauge immediately quit working so I thought I had damaged the connector. Then the thing leaked around the mounting threads like crazy. I had it tight but the oil just ran out. I reinstalled my old unit with a wrap or two of teflon tape, hooked up the wire and the oil pressure gauge once again worked fine. I can't tell what the difference is by looking at it but I will not order from them again. Maybe for some other model of Ford but I was clear in my ordering of the unit.
