These did not work well for me. It sounds like the voice coils are rubbing but when I move them by hand there is no rubbing. So I don't know if my installation was bad or if the speakers are just too old to salvage. The installation appear to be flawless and they look great, but the speakers don't sound that way. Either way I will just replace the speakers with new ones and hope I can still use my wall mount speaker housing.

Speaker foam was worn out. Removed and replaced with this kit. Speaker works great.Figured speaker was going to be thrown out but this kit saved the day.

Worked fine on my Acutex 3.1's but you need to make sure you get it right the first time, because the glue sets quickly.Definitely a lot cheaper than trying to replace the woofers in the 20+ year old speakers.

The repair kit was what I expected, but it turned out that the speakers needed additional repairs, so I returned the product and bought new speakers. Since I didn't use them, I didn't feel I could evaluate them as to performance.

Easier to do than I had expected! Just be careful to clean all residue of old surround and it's glue before replacing with a new surround ring. Recommend you find some half inch wood lengths to hold the speaker cone in place while gluing surround foam in place. I used a small radio for a audio source while drying. To keep the cone and surround moving during drying.
