I've owned this throne for some time now.I would say approximately 4 years and I acquired it used. I have know idea how long the original user owned it before me. That being said, it has held up wonderfully. It is every bit as comfortable as the day I first received it. Compared to the typical starter throne that most of us begin with you immediately understand where the name drum throne came from. Very comfortable, firm but not too much so. The material on top provides grip for you backside so you aren't sliding off as your legs work and move easily adjusted and very sturdy. I'm a big guy and have never felt unstable. I think the weight limit is like 500 lbs or something. There a lots of quality thrones to choose from, this one will not disappoint.

This throne looks nice, and has a thick foam top that's really comfortable. Not sure if it's memory foam or not, bet when you first sit down you settle into it a little. Definitely a huge upgrade over lower end thrones. The sticker on the bottom says it's rated to 500 pounds, so it should be sturdy enough to last most players a lifetime.
