Great feel if you like high tension. Sound is good and even across the strings. The string legth is AWESOME! My Agile 8 string has a 27 inch scale and these are extra long to accommodate, thank you Ortega! One thing I found is that playing acousticly they don't sound over the top but when I play through my PA my guitar has never sounded louder (I usually have the volume on my guitar at 100% but with these strings I'm at 45% and have way more head room than I need) plus a clear and articulate sound. That low E .083 is a monster though and will not fit a string bead, I did have to drill the hole out on my bridge for that to fit (that has to be the only down fall I've found so far... but oh does it sound good) Also to note these are NOT the strings that come on the Ortega guitars that is the NYP8 set.

They sound good. They don’t rust very easily. They don’t break when played.

Ridiculously expensive and they are not even coated to make them last longer like D'Addario EXPs or Elixirs strings are. Ortega seems to think that just because it's difficult to find 8 string sets for an 8 string nylon guitar that it's totally justifiable then to charge approximately $60 additional dollars for a Low B and a Low E/F# sharp string grand totaling out to a whopping $75 a set (that's not even coated). Freaking ridiculous!!! I bought these ONLY because I couldn't find anything else when I bought an Ortega RCE159-8 which turned out to be a really really crappy guitar that also wasn't Rosewood as the Amazon listing promised --along with several other things wrong with guitar. Anyway, since I had to return the RCE159-8 guitar I had absolutely no use for these strings so I returned them as well. Oh, incidentally, for what it's worth the RCE159-8 guitar came with a broken high E string and the coiled strings were already showing slight signs of corrosion on a NEW guitar (these are the exact same strings that are in this set I am reviewing here) and being that they are $75 this should definitely not have happened.
