These strings sound better than the Daddario set I had previously.I bought these for the wound G. Note it says "synthetic wound", not plated like I assumed (without checking, my fault)The Aquila Lava baritone uke set has a plated wound G that sounds amazing. I was hoping to get that sound from the Savarez set for my classical guitar. The Aquila Lava (DGBE) baritone strings sound a little better than these savarez strings, but these strings do sound nice. If the Savarez G string doesn't work out (due to issue listed below) I might swap it for the Aquila if it fits my requintoI'm not sure if you are supposed to cut the excess off the Savarez G string. It's capped on both ends. It became unwound at the end that I cut and unraveled quickly all the way to the tuning peg, but so far has not effected the sound. Or maybe that's what it's supposed to do. I don't know. I've never had a synthetic wound G string on a guitar before. I tied the end off so hopefully that stops the unravel.

This is not my first set of Savarez with the wound 3rd string. 3rd always sounds dull except when you get a wound string!

Best classical strings out there. The higher strings have a velvet texture, which doesn't stick to your fingers and makes them smooth for playing I've been using these for 20 years and have yet to find a match.

Great strings, savarez makes the best strings hands down. The g string is wound in plastic in this set, which gives it a more bright and full sound, as opposed to the relatively flat sounding g string which is a problem in many other classical string sets. Highly recommend

After doing research for the best strings for my wife's Martin 00-16C classical, the Savarez 530 P3's are it. Compliments the warmth of the woods in this vintage guitar. Highly recommended.

If you're even remotely serious about how your nylon-stringed guitar sounds, these are the best possible strings to use. The white-wound 3rd string makes all the difference. Savarez strings are easy enough to find in a good retail guitar store, but not this particular set.
