Your cart is empty.The LUMIX S 20-60mm F3.5-5.6 is a compact, lightweight standard zoom lens in a L-mount/full-frame format. Covering from ultra wide 20mm to standard 60mm focal length, it supports versatile shooting opportunities from landscapes to snap shots. Wide view angle makes it easier to shoot indoors where room space is limited and minimum focusing distance of 5.9-inch (maximum magnification 0.43x) supports close-up photography. High optical performance ensures superb image quality from center to edges, while keeping the body size small. Thanks to the mechanism that suppresses focus breathing, smooth and high quality video recording is made possible. The rugged dust/splash-resistant design withstands use under harsh conditions even at 14 degrees F for high mobility. In addition, a fluorine coating on the front element protects the lens from water and oil. The filter diameter is 67 mm, with a 9-blade circular aperture diaphragm. Dust and Splash Resistant does not guarantee that damage will not occur if this lens is subjected to direct contact with dust and water.

I get a lot use out of this lens on the S5 shooting video. The overwhelming majority of my use with this lens is at 20mm. It works well in that category, though on some occasions when I can't back up enough I wish it went down to 18mm. Its relatively light weight balances well with the S5.For taking pictures the usable range is in 20-35mm at 5.6, after this the sharpness goes down. The resolution loss after 35mm isn't noticeable in 4k videos, or wide open. There is no distortion or vignetting, as that is corrected in software in the camera. If you disable the image correction in your RAW image editor, you will have heavy barrel distortion with a 18mm like view, it might be useful under certain artistic reasons.I wouldn't pay full price for this lens though. At $300 this is excellent, but at twice as much it's not. I didn't buy it here.

First, I bought s5ii without lens and used Sigma 35mm f/1.2 on it for a while. But the 35mm is a BIG lens and somewhat unbalanced the s5ii. So, I bought this used s 20-60mm and found it to be perfect match to the s5ii. Vibrant, life-like colors on mid-size jpg using "landscape" mode. And AF works fast and reliably. This is just a pleasure to shoot, and is a great lens at any price, much less the $297 that I actually paid for it.

I got this as a kit lens with the S5. It’s about a $300 up charge vs purchasing body only. It’s a truly unbeatable value. It goes pretty wide at 20mm at the low end and the image quality is overall excellent. Omission of O.I.S is something I’m okay with given the form factor. It’s a notch bigger than the lumix 1.8 primes. The 24-105 lumix lens wi O.I.S is twice as heavy and physically 50% longer. If you’re using an S5 you can make this the equivalent of 30-90mm in APS-C mode.Overall, it’s pretty awesome all around. I think it’s definitely worth its standalone price and an absolute steal as a kit lens.

This is a second lens for my Sigma fp, L Mount version. Beautiful images.I find that it stays on the camera as it works wonderfully for photography and videography.The f-stop scales as you zoom, but the camera has plenty of ways to accommodate for that.This lens "breathes" more than my other lens. So turn off AF in the CINE Autofocus tab.Love it. Worth it.

I really like this lens. I don’t have a large lens collection so my experience is limited, however; this lens is hecka lightweight. Compared to my smaller vintage lens you could hurdle this into the exosphere (not that you’d want to). There is a slight purple color fringe should that deter you. The sharpness is fair not spectacular. The zoom range is very handy. It’s an all round lens that won’t do you wrong.
