The Exopod comes with a shoulder strap turning it into a handy backpack when you want to do some exploring on your adventures. This pack has been designed to fit in the tankwell's of select Pelican models. Note this storage compartment is NOT waterproof, take necessary precautions to protect your gear.

I love it. I've been looking for accessories to add to my quest kayak since they really don't make any and the 17l fits my kayak perfectly. The product is not waterproof but I put a scotch gard waterproof spray on it and use a dry bag inside. This product was my favorite addition to my kayak so far. I also added the pelican dash board bag from the mission 100 which also fits this kayak perfectly if you add the snaps.

It's an okay carry case, but a dry bag does the job better. I mainly bought it because I post the one that came with my Pelican, and if I ever sell it I wanted it to have all the original gear.

Fits well in the suggested place in front of kayak. Not water proof but water resistant and kept extra clothes in zip loc bag and other stuff. Fits well one storage space

I needed a hard case for the Kayak deck. Used the factory deck bungee straps with new clips to hold the pod down. Pleased with the pod overall. It will hold snacks, B$$r, water, cloths, any gear for a day out on the kayak. Wrap gear in another dry bag as the pod is not waterproof, but it does shed splash water fine. My buddy has two on his kayak and they have held up well over cpl seasons. The shoulder strap and carry handle are nice bonus when on shore for some recon or leisure time.
