So I won’t lie I actually purchased this item elsewhere recently that doesn’t even offer a website, but it’s so good I can’t keep my mouth shut about it. My husband and I both deal with nervous system disruption and disorders. Working on the natural circadian rhythm is apparently very helpful for regulating your body and helps with the symptoms we both deal with regularly-depression,anxiety,pain,exhaustion, etc. My husband wakes up for work at 3:30 am. It is absolute TORTURE on my body to wake up outside of my natural pattern sends me into adrenal dumps etc. He is an incredibly heavy sleeper and very hard to wake up in the mornings. Like I have to shake this man every 5-15 minutes for an hour to make sure he’s actually awake and processing his alarm going off. We had adapted to using our cell phone alarms for so long we just continued to use what we knew and suffered through it until I came across this bad boy. LIFE. CHANGING. Within 3 uses of only the light/radio function for waking up- he no longer chooses to press the prolong function to get five more minutes of sleep. He wakes up naturally with the light without me having to try to wake him up. He hops right up out of bed and gets ready for his day. I’m mind blown. Unfortunately the clock I picked up isn’t functioning properly with the nature noises so I can’t tell you if that’s beneficial or not but I’d literally buy this lamp/clock 5 times over for the alarm, light, and fm function alone. The price is worth it for literal suffering we no longer face every morning trying to get up easier. It looks very sleek on the bedside table it would fit pretty much any decor I’d think. This thing has been a life saver, I’m no longer getting sick every morning and he is truly adapting so well to it I want to cry LOL if you have someone in your life, maybe you, that struggles to wake up in the mornings-get this. Dont even think twice about it!

prosi have been using it for almost 7 months now. and the alarm really has by FAR exceeded the expectations.. much much much better than phone alarm .... i used to be a Heavy Sleeper but now i normally wakeup just by the light and up 5 to10 mins before the alarm goes off. if you wake up everyday on time, fresh and energised your entire day becomes more productive...(i take 7 to 8 hours sleep though so in order for this device to work best you need to follow good sleep hygiene)CONSI have seen some Amazon reviews that the product may become faulty in 2 to 4 years but its too early for me to confirm/deny that claim.. so far after 3 months of usage i am literally loving it .... will update if it breaks downoverll100000000 % recommended if you are a heavy sleeper ... in my case its def worth the price.... i would be very happy to pay 5x the price if i had to ... for me, this alarm clock is really Life Changing.....

This is the best dawn simulator you will get, but, hmmmm. Weaknesses:• It's not that bright;• It's controls are hard to understand;• it lacks a good weekend/day-off setting;• It could do with a more modern radio.Philips could do a lot to improve this light. For example, Philips makes it's Hue range of smart lightbulbs - and it would be nice to be able to manage them with this dawn simulator, slowly lighting the whole room (or red-shifting when it's time to sleep, with a sleep radio function.) A DAB radio would also be nice, as would a remote speaker and streaming. Finally an app so it could be managed, like the Hue lightbulbs from a phone would be nice - and the "Holy Grail" - a hotel version where you could easily set it to deal with jet lag.

Light is for my wife, she loves it. Is working as advertised, helping during the shorter days of winter. Was easy to set-up and program. Great buy.

Love this light/alarm. I find it really easy to use, unlike some others who've complained about it's small buttons, etc. It was simple to set up, I never had to look at the user guide twice. The light is nice and bright if you want it to be, or cosy and warm if you like that. I usually have it set around 13 - 14. I'm a big fan of the cute woodland birds chirping me into wakefulness. I use this in conjunction with the Sleep Cycle app and so over a half hour period I find a have been pleasantly woken and have noticed a difference in my day - mostly that I'm less tired. But it is definitely easier to wake up to light and gentle sounds in the darkness of winter. If only if could turn on my central heating before I get up.I'm in Australia and Phillips do not sell this light here as they obviously think its constant sunshine & laughter, and I found it almost impossible to find a seller who would ship here. I finally found one seller in Germany and so it was easy enough to buy a Euro to AUS adapter. All in all I'm super happy with this light, it's costly, but I absolutely dread cold dark mornings.
