I like the display size. I did not find the instructions to be easily understood (sorry about that).I will say that I am disappointed in the sound quality of the radio. It sounds very tinny. Also the sound level at 16 is not very loud. I am used to having the radio alarm blast on at 6am. This one is too soft, but that's my problem.

Very disappointed. Does not function as it should. When you press the snooze and some random letter pop up, which cause the alarm to reset. Or when you press to set Alarm 1 and Alarm 2 activates. Obviously it is poorly made. I’ve only had this alarm clock for less than a year. Don’t buy this one …. Keep shopping.

It’s a pretty alarm clock radio. Nice size and display. I also liked the nature sounds and the am/fm radio. Nice looking overall and I really wish it worked as advertised. Big problem is that the alarm settings are hard to customize especially in the radio mode. The volume of the alarm also cannot be customized. I tried every way possible but couldn’t get it work. Very disappointing as I would have liked to keep it. But the main reason I bought it in the first place was for the alarm radio setting and since that doesn’t work I am returning it. Too bad. Either it’s a defective unit or just poor quality product. Seeing all the other reviews it may be a quality issue.

This clock has a great mix of features I was looking for: red LED display, nature sounds to help with tinnitus that you can set to the sleep timer, customizable wake-up sounds, and AM/FM radio all in one device that does not take up much space on the nightstand. The interface for changing sources (radio, aux, and nature sounds) and setting the alarms and time is rather convoluted, but once you get acclimated to it, it is not difficult. The buttons to control everything are context-specific, and will serve different purposes depending on if you are setting the alarm, listening to radio, or using the sleep timer. The nature sounds are quite nice and there are a wide variety of them (20). But, they have one major shortcoming: they loop very quickly. The longest any of them went before looping was around 8 seconds, and the shortest one was only around 2. This may not be a problem for some, but if your brain fixates on repetitive patterns they won't be soothing at all. I found for sleep that nature sounds 19 and 20 (crickets or frogs) seem to be less obvious how they looped. The main drawback for me was the sound quality. Sound is quite tinny and despite having two speaker grilles seems to output in mono, which for a simple alarm clock isn't a deal-breaker, but using this as a sound machine wasn't ideal for me as it just didn't sound very clear and almost made my ears ring more at times.I did like that you could choose to wake up to a beep, radio, or nature sounds. One limitation of the alarm is that you cannot specify to wake up to a radio preset, it will only tune to whatever station was last tuned on FM (no wake to AM possible). I liked waking to nature sound 3 (windchimes). The biggest drawback to the alarm was it's gradual volume increase- while this feature to gently wake you up by starting at a low volume and increasing, it increases too quickly and keeps going without a way to specify maximum volume, so it just keeps getting louder and louder until it blasts your ears off.Another issue I noted was that the auxiliary input mode was far quieter than the other modes (AM, FM, and nature sounds), and even maxing out the volume on the clock and the device (phone) I had plugged in it was still very quiet (and tinny). I wasn't planning on using this mode but my impression is that it wouldn't perform well and an aux speaker.Overall it has a good feature set for a general alarm clock, especially if you like having a red LED display and want to guarantee you'll be up the first time the alarm sounds. If you are using it as a sleep sound machine, it falls a bit short; I ended up returning it for a standalone sound machine.

Numbers are easy to see. We purchased it to use the natural sounds to fall asleep to at night. But you have to push the alarm button and hold it and get to "n s" and then pick the sound. Difficult to do. One time I accidently set the alarm to go off at midnight and the only way I could figure it out to turn it off was to unplug it and reset the time. Why can't there be one button for each function? Sound does work for the radio, but not for the natural sounds. I don't recommend it.

Numbers are large so you can see it clearly at a distance. The calming sounds are an added bonus

Numbers are big and not too bright, which is good for me....I like the nature sounds they have and the alarm starts low and increases, but it gets too loud too quickly!!! That I would change...but overall its pretty good!

Clock LED display is large and can be read across the bedroom. However, only 2 of the 20 preset stations work from my location. I am still unable to save any my chosen stations even while following the instructions in the manual.

Love the large display. There is no rhyme or reason on how to set the alarms on this. I am well educated, working in Software quality assurance and still can’t figure it out. Setting time is fine, trying to change the alarm modes from radio to off is another thing. It comes on low volume and gets louder the longer you wait. Easy to turn the alarm off and snooze. Just can’t change modes.
