I got these for my panniers and like how sturdy they are. I think it's a lot better than loading gear in a rear rack because these keep theweight down low for better stability.

The Side-rack kit from PMRacks is the right choice for those looking to outfit your Yamaha TW200. Kit comes with all of the necessary hardware one could ask for and has a very detailed two page (with illustrations) instructions. In addition, there are YouTube videos which walk you through the installation and mounting process--it could not have been easier.Product Evaluation: Excellent heavy-gauge black crinkle powder-coated steel frame in a semi-flat finish was precisely made specifically for your Yamaha TW200 models. No worrying about 'bending this or bending that," to get things to fit properly--it goes together as if it were Yamaha-factory made. Hardware is good quality and of proper gauge length without rattles due to poor fitment.My only criticism is that the rack should extend about a inch more towards the ground to prevent soft saddle bags from coming in contact with the rear wheel during operation.

I was worried they would be too bulky on the bike for my liking. These racks fit amazing and provide some extra insurance in the case bike is dropped or if you run pannier bags.

Fit my 2010 TW200 perfectly. Well made and tough. Totally love how they keep my saddle bags in place and away from the hot exhaust. To create more space for my pillion’s feet, I added homemade extensions to the rear of the rack to allow rearward placement of saddle bags.

Before I bought this side rack, I had a pair of small adventure style saddlebags installed by basically draping them across the seat and under my rear rack. Normally they were fine on excursions until one day I came back from a 50 mile street and haul road ride when I realized that they had begun to melt even though I had a heat shield installed over the muffler (as they had slid back a bit too far). My contents had begun to smoke and smolder! Not anymore, since I installed this rack. Easy to install with a bit of patience. It fits nicely as it sits very close to the bike's plastics. This rack makes it easy to position straps on the rack due to it's design. Between fiberglass pipe tape, heat shield, and these sturdy racks, my bike will be a rolling No Smoking Zone! Get a pair!
