Until now, I have been using an analog dial gauge manifold gauge set for HVAC work, this digital gauge is accurate as compared to my dial gauge. I like that this digital gauge came with the batteries and fits comfortably in my carry bag for my other set. The new hoses will be great when my old ones are ready to be retired.

This is a really impressive gauge set. I was worried at first that it was going to end up feeling cheap based on the photo but its actually really substantial feeling, not like that kind of plastic thats going to break real easily. To test it i attached this to my name brand gauge set and set it to 410a, then compared the readings. I did not zero out this gauge first so if its within 5 psi i'd say its successful and you can see in my attached photo that it does seem to be accurate. Sure analog gauges are tried and true but i like the idea of glancing at the display and getting an exact number and temp quickly. It also has a number of other features for things like leak testing etc. While this doesnt completely replace all features of a standard gauge set i will definitely use this for quick tests and top ups. Really nice product. Oh and they even give you a set of hoses with it!! Really like having this for my tool box.
