Easy to apply with the brush attached to the lid. I'm trying to preserve my chipped blue tile, painting and then sealing with the gloss finish varnish. I also put the varnish on a decorative rock I found, works, great, dries fast enough. I'll keep these bottles in my craft room for small projects, or for touch up.

I used this to make eyeballs for a halloween costume and it worked as promised. It was easy to use and made the air dry clay glossy. They're very small bottles, but worked great for my small project.

Great varnish set for air dry clay models. I found that the varnishes work as expected to seal and coat unpainted air dry clay sculptures and pottery. This will slightly increase the longevity of your air dry clay models by sealing them and offering a much more maintainable surface.Matte finish is slightly less glossy than the glossy finish. I didn't found that the matte finish coats well in one coat, where the glossy finish may require several coats depending on your desired level of gloss and parallax.NOTE: I didn't try using the varnish over painted surfaces. I will be trying this in the future and will offer an amendment to this review once I've tried them out in this way.I found that this item works as expected and I would buy again.

Used it on a clay figure I was making. used a lot because it was kinda hard to aply, but the clay looked great afterwards

After using this product and letting it sit it became very sticky and wiped right off the clay! Not happy and do not recommend for anything!This product is great. It’s very thick but doesn’t leave your pieces goopy or sticky. The only complaint that I have is it does take a little bit longer to dry than what I had thought but no big deal. That and the brush is horrible. it’s cheap and flimsy and it’s just not good. Not a big deal. I’ll just use my own brush, otherwise this product is highly recommend for anyone doing polymer clay such as Fimo or Sculpey. It works amazing.

I tested the sealers on polymer clay and they both preformed very well! They both work as intended and even come with a nail polish type brush where it’s inside the bottle/attached to the cap.

These come with brushes, but I prefer to use my own. The bristles on the included brushes fall out and are wonky. The varnish doesn't smell terrible and it is easy to apply. Gloss is shiny and matte looks almost like nothing is there. I am not sure if I'd buy this again, but it works well enough and does what it is supposed to.

I have other methods (spraying) that I usually use for coating clay projects that are not fired in the true kiln, like air dry clay and polymer clay. I wanted to try this to see what the differences might be with other products. Compared to my spray, this is not as good. The matte doesn't really seem to create a coating, it is hard to see it. The glossy is harder to apply neatly with the brush provided than using spray, and doing all sides of a piece for more than one coat would be a much bigger job than just spraying with gloss spray. Good to have in case situations occur where spraying is really not practical, for instance if wanting to coat just one part of a piece very specifically.
