These "alligator" forceps are medical-grade. Other forceps on this site have poor locking mechanisms; they either will not lock, stay locked, or will not release.. However, these forceps are terrific. They are comfortable in your hands, the locking mechanism works well and is secure., Then it unlocks just as easily. They are comparable to what you would use in the hospital setting.

Looks don't make a tool work better.But these two hemistants I purchased. So disappointed.Not usable anymore and i'm careful with things. I doubt I had already sent this in. I'm still not over it so disappointed.

Great forceps made in Germany, and the Germans make good stuff that's for sure. Use these when working on small pieces and parts like changing out watch batteries or setting small screws. Overall they have worked perfectly for me.

Jaws are parallel and well-toothed, finish is very good, handles fit well.Used at home so cannot comment on anything regarding autoclaves.Overall, extremely pleased with these.

Came faster than expected. These two easy to pocket Hemostats or clamps are my spare for my nursing work. But because they’re so handy, I use the straight one every time I work in the hospital. No more long ones dangling from outside my pockets. Great quality as I expected, locks perfectly. The curved one I use for fish deboning, and other kitchen and baking needs. So glad I got this pair.
