I'm pleased with this RV water filter. It functions well and seems to do a good job of filtering campsite water hookups which can sometimes be less than ideal. It's compact, it doesn't leak, and it's easy to use. I don't drink the tap water from my RV, even using an inline filter, so I can't speak to the taste of the water when using this filter...but I can say that I've noticed no smells, discoloration, or any indication that the water wasn't clean and drinkable at all of the various campsites that we've visited and used this filter at. I think it's a good value for the money - it works well and is reasonably priced... I'd buy it again.Recommended.

I recently installed (November 2024) the Uni X1 Clear RV Water Filter Housing with the High Efficiency Activated Carbon Filter in my garden’s drip irrigation system, and I am looking forward for my 2025 vegetable growing season. My main goal was is reduce the chlorine and other impurities from my municipal water supply, and this filter does an excellent job of improving the quality of water that I use for my vegetable garden.The clear housing is a great feature because it allows me to easily check the filter’s condition and monitor for any buildup or clogging, which is very convenient.I tested the filter under pressure right after installation, and so far, there have been no leaks at all, which speaks to the quality of both the housing and the seals. The heavy-duty stainless steel bracket also makes it easy to mount and keeps everything securely in place, even when the water pressure fluctuates.Overall, I’m very pleased with the performance of the Uni X1 Filter Housing. It’s built well, does exactly what I need it to do, and gives me peace of mind knowing my garden is getting cleaner water. If you’re looking to improve the water quality for your irrigation system or RV, this filter is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended!
