I was able to mount it to a cheap folding luggage table. The boards don't slide but I'll be especially careful to not get wax dust on the grippers because I imagine they could get slippery over time, just as the floor in that spot does. One star off for the clamps lack of depth. Height of clamp opening is good. Having more depth would have allowed me to affix it to a more sturdy table, because the table had a beveled edge but, but this works. Nice product.
