Firstly the accessories, the strap although nice was a swine to actually fit so eventually discarded it and used a leather one I already had. The tuner, functional but won't check intonation. The cleaning cloth does its job. The case is okay but offers no real protection from bumps not that it advertises such so as a carry case its fine. The capo is a bit oversized but works ok. The strings are 11's, the website states it comes fitted with 12's mine though appears to be fitted with 10's but freebies are freebies even if perhaps they are not.The product came well packaged, no signs of outer wear and tear. The guitar itself looks very nice, a change from the normal gloss finishes this matt finish does look good, on the neck this finish may not suit some at first but I like it. The neck itself is very slim and extremely comfortable, the frets are well dressed, no sharp or rough edges. The nut is plastic and appears well cut for 10's! The tuners hold the tuning well for budget jobs so no issues at the moment, their action is smooth. On the body the binding as well as the f holes is fine and looks smart. The scratch plate looks cheap so I removed it. The volume and tone knobs are adequate although I opted to change them to a more conventional Gibson type but that's just my preference. Pots seem ok no crackles. I did change the bridge to a roller version as this helps against string wear again my preference. As its a hollowbody its weight is nice and light even though it has a centre block like a semi and is comfortable to play. The action was nice and low and barre chords high up the neck was easy to play and the intonation was very much spot on and no adjustment needed although the strings were changed quickly enough, nothing really wrong with them, they had some life in them but opted for a set of 10 guage flat wounds as oposed to rounds and they certainly enhanced the overall sound. Unplugged it was loud enough and had a fair bit of warmth to it. Plugged into a Fender Champ the P90 pups were quite good not exactly Tele pups with attitude as P90s were once described but more than adequate. The bridge pup was loud and bright whilst the neck pup was nicely rounded, together they worked well also with the switch moving smoothly between the three positions.All in all just about worth the discounted price, a few mods and its a reasonable guitar.

The guitar seems well built, with a more than decent bag. The other goodies are the usual low end supplies. The guitar is not bad, has almost a acoustic quality about it, but the marre f8nish fe3ls unfinished. The P90's are cool, better than buckers. Would be 4 or 5 stars if not for the finish. So if you want a good beginner guitar with a good sound, try this. If you want a finished guitar, go elsewhere.

I have had this guitar for a couple weeks now and wanted to update my experience so far. First i didn't have to change strings because they come with new Addario on the guitar. The action was perfect for my taste. Low action with no buzzing is a big plus for me. The p-90 pickups sound much better than i expected for a budget guitar too. Anyhow, up until the past few years , a new decent semi-hollow 335 style would cost you a lot and the cheap one's weren't nearly as good as all these inexpensive guitar's now being imported from Asian countries. I am very happy with this Pyle and recommend it to anyone from beginner to pro level as long as it is set up right. With this Pyle you get a decent gig bag, D'addario strings etc... so go for it! For a good time and a good cheap date get ya one! You'll be glad you did.

First time guitar owner. Neck has what looks like a crack or at least am imperfection in the wood. With a 1 year warranty we'll see what happens. Feels like a good entry level blues guitar. Doing lessons at this point. Holds tune pretty well. Nice sound without an amp. Looking forward to hearing it amplified.

Nice looking instrument. Plays excellent. This is the first guitar I’ve bought that came with excellent action, and doesn’t need to be set up. It has good electronics that perform well and produce great sound.

This is a fantastic entry level guitar with a value that far surpasses the price. Two Semi Hum-buckers that provide a great tone. With a 3 way switch to control front/both/rear semi hum-bucker you have several options to contort, distort, refine, clean and combine sound. To further your ability to refine sound Pyle has enabled you to control volume of Each semi hum-bucker with a designated volume switch. They have also provided a Tone rotary dial for each semi hum-bucker as well. Most guitars of this price will only provide one! The f holes allowed for superior sustain and fret board was smooth. The Matte Tobacco sunburst is very well made with white binding to protect those edges where beginners neglect so it will stay looking nice. The Tuning knobs are sufficient keep tune even when playing scales and putting on the bend. The ivory neck inlays were a nice touch and the frets finished smooth for nice chord changes. Overall, excellent value in contract to cost.

I play guitar, bass and banjo. I’ve wanted a hollow body for awhile but didn’t want to spend the $$$. This is a great guitar for the price and it sounds warm and it looks great. This body style is beautiful. I’ve been playing it for over a week now and it’s great for the new to intermediate player. If you are a professional and are playing in a studio, this probably won’t cut it, but for all other players, it’s really a great instrument.Just remember that with any guitar when you restring it or get it new, the strings need to be tuned again after playing for a bit. After that, I just tune it next time I pick it up to play. I’ve bought other intermediate instruments from Pyle before and they’re all great. Very happy they released this. They’re a great brand that has been around for many years.

This is a great-sounding guitar. I was amazed not only at the sound but the quality of the build and the great looks the guitar has. It is a complete package as you get a quality-sounding guitar, a quality carrying case, an extra package of strings, free online lessons, picks, a nice strap, and a digital tuner.
