The Velcro doesn’t hold. Every time the ball hit the net the Velcro got undone and the net fell off. We had to secure it with masking tape.

It was easy for my 13 year old grandson to set up, took him all of 10 minutes. It holds up fairly well but the strike zone net sometimes falls when the ball hits it, which happens a frustrating number of times. Be sure you stake it down as instructed or its going to fall over. Its price when I placed the order was 50 dollar. It works well in the backyard for my grandchildren to practice pitching skills and "show off" at family gatherings which is why I ordered it. It would not hold up for an entire team to use consistently. The seller mentions it withstands ball speeds up to 130MPH. If you were using it for hockey puck practice you might achieve those speeds. But my 14-year-old grandson is an exceptional pitcher for his age, and he just now started pitching at 75 miles an hour. They also mention this net for "professionals". I seriously doubt a professional would buy and use this piece of equipment. Given my 13-year-old grandson finds it frustrating to use, because the net sometimes falls off when the ball hits it, I doubt a professional player would be pleased with that. That said, it has great entertainment value at family events for 8 grandchildren. I'm not sure what a reasonable price is, but if I were actually looking for one of these, I would look for a "kit"; one with a second and larger background netting, that would catch/stop the balls that miss the strike zone. My opinion is the frame is a nice combination of light weight yet sturdy and its built well for 50 bucks and it really will be very portable if any of the family want to borrow it. Only time will tell how well it holds up. It loses a star for the fact the net detaches sometimes.

Picked up this pitching strike zone trainer with pockets for my son to work on his accuracy, and it's been a fantastic tool. The setup was quick — it’s lightweight but sturdy enough to stay in place during a solid throwing session. The different pockets make it really easy to focus on pitch placement. Whether he's working on fastballs, breaking balls, or changeups, he can aim for specific corners and get instant feedback on where the pitch lands. It's a great way to simulate a real strike zone without needing a catcher every time. It’s held up well to daily use, and the frame and netting feel durable. We use it in the backyard mostly, but it’s portable enough to bring to the park or field.Overall, it’s a simple but super effective training tool. Great for any pitcher looking to improve accuracy, control, and consistency. Definitely worth it.

Such a great deal for what you get. The net is sturdy, the target pockets are well laid out, and the adjustable height makes it easy to set up for both kids and adults. My son has been using it regularly and you can already see the improvement in his accuracy and consistency. It’s holding up really well so far, even after some heavy use. For the price, this is easily one of the better training tools out there. Highly recommend for anyone trying to step up their pitching game.

One of the pipes had a dent. So it made it difficult to put together. Otherwise it’s a decent net to help but the base isn’t very sturdy or a heavy duty steel so it knocks over with each pitch. I recommend investing in a better one from a sporting goods store

I am so impressed with this 9-hole pitching net! My 9-year-old just started pitching on his little league team this season, and I wanted to find a way for him to practice his accuracy at home in a way that was both fun and productive. This net has been an absolute game-changer for us.The 9-hole design is perfect for helping young pitchers visualize the strike zone and work on hitting specific spots. It gives instant feedback and really helps them focus on control rather than just speed. My son loves the challenge of trying to hit each square, and it has quickly become part of his daily routine. You can really see his confidence building as he improves! The net itself is sturdy and easy to set up. It doesn’t take up a ton of space, and we can move it around as needed. Whether we’re in the backyard or at the park, it’s convenient to bring along. I also appreciate that it’s helping to build good habits and technique early on in his pitching journey. As a parent, I’m just so glad there’s something like this out there to help support his development and keep the game fun. Highly recommend this to anyone with a young pitcher at home, it’s well worth it!

This will work for my younger player. It was easy to put together (like fifteen minutes max) and it comes with stakes to keep it in the yard which is nice. What I DONT love is that the netting is connected with Velcro straps, but even prior to throwing a ball into it the right and left sides kind of dip down-like there should have been a top and side strap right there in the corner if we were doing it this way. As soon as you throw a ball it starts to weigh it down. I think for $50 or less it’s good enough but if I was going to get another one down the road I’d want a heavy base and a more secure netting that stayed exactly where it should be.

welds are terrible and wont last a year, height adjustment doesnt lock in,huge amount of material in between the netting means a significant amount of balls will ricochet off of the item instead of landing in the net.
