Works for medium to smaller filters but for larger filters I'd get a bigger one. For the price it's not bad.

The teeth show different in the picture. They show less teeth and more pointy. I have used both styles and the one in the picture works best. The one they sent has shallow teeth and dont grip as well.

This tool is great for releasing stuck oil filters. I cut sand paper into narrow strips to put on it for grip. The steel can be slippery to hold at times.
