Keeps my tomatoes, jalapenos, cantaloupe, and onions watered consistently. I use a smaller diameter drill bit for a pilot hole and insert coupling until I hear a snap. No leaks

easy to install, have had in operation for a few weeks now & no leaks. I do recommend you purchase the installation tool (Rain Bird HPTCX Drip Irrigation 2-in-1 Combination Tubing Cutter/Hole Punch Tool ). It makes installation a lot easier.

I tried many different brands and think that this connector is the best for 1/2" to 1/4" tube.I used hot water on the 1/4" tube when inserting the connector - it is not easy without this step.

These units seem smaller than ones I've used previously. Their small size makes them a bit harder to install without tools, although I can still manage. They still operate leak free and will not pull out easily.

Noe of the big box stores or local hardware stores stock these for some reason. Local store had a fancy version that were very expensive and came with bad reviews. These did the trick and were very inexpensive and worked great.

I'm replacing a container-gardening system all around my home (we only took the other one down because we thought we might move) I had a Rain Bird system all over the porches and patios. These Rain Bird systems are great. I had probably a hundred pots to water, and these connectors made it possible to make the whole system efficient and virtually disappear. I added a timer to water everything around 5:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. and had no problems at all.
