Looks nice ….. but these sliders hook to the body, not the frame. Pictures show frame mount . The most unprofessional things was there are no instruction. Help desk is good thought.

Got these for my 2017 Tacoma TRD Off Road, they bolted on fairly easily with no drilling required. I recommend having a buddy to help you put these on, they are not light! They sit very close to the body and don't protrude out which is what I was looking for, but give good protection. If you understand rock rails and skid plates, this is an insurance policy you need!

Doesn't come with mounting boltsAlso tubular configuration doesn't match pictures. Pictures show rounded outside bar at front and rear portion. Item delivered has outside bar / nub (for lack of better descriptor) pointing forward toward front wheel. Concern is it will easily catch on something

Installed on my new Tacoma. Arrived with no issues. Powder coating nice and even and rails appeared sturdy and well built. Installation was a breeze and took about 10 mins. I recommend a helper to help hold in place until secure. All bolt holes lined up nicely and everything secured easily. These rock rails tuck up nicely and do not protrude too far outward (Wife got in and out and didn't hit her ankles lol). They extend inward for almost the width of the rails for added protection. Gave my truck a "finished" look. Seem to built for durability and time will tell on that. Overall very pleased will initial installation, fit, and a appearanceNote: These will fit a 2023 as there is no change from 2022 in that area of the truck body

Received the item well packaged and boxed.Installed the passenger side rail with no problems. The driver's side rail installation was a nightmare. The prefab holes on the rail did not line up with my factory, 2022 Tacoma's underside screw mount holes. I spent a good amount of time drilling and sanding out a portion of the metal from the prefab holes on either side of the rail, so they would line up with the underside holes of my stock Tacoma. You will need more than a standard drill/drill bit. I used a heavy-duty Dremel with a metal grinder bit attachment which helped "carve out" the rail holes an extra 1/4" total.Do NOT order these rails unless you are handy with tools and are able to finish the fabrication the N-Fab's factory should've performed correctly. An absolute joke, a mess, and a waste of my time for a $400 product.

I went with the N-Fab RKR Rails as they are one of the few options without steps that don't stick out to far from the body. I really like the tubular steel design and how much of the reinforcement is tucked away out of view, yet still offers significant protection of the lower body panels. These rails are THICK and heavy (60+ lbs. per), I would not expect to easily dent or damage these rails.Packaging was terrible though. They're plastic wrapped with spray foam caps but it's clear that they were rattling around in the box and incurred damage to the coating in four areas. I spray painted the bare metal areas before installation to prevent against rust for good measure.I'm not really bothered with the paint chipping, but it could be very easily avoided if packed slightly better.Ultimately, I am thrilled with these rails.Subtle, functional, heavy duty. One of the few options if you want proper body protection without ridiculous needless rock catching side steps. Your girlfriend will complain about the missing side steps though, haha.

Ordered and installed on 2020 Tacoma (TRD-Off Road). Hardware was provided and install was a breeze. I can see having an additional person to help with mounting since they have a good amount of weight to them but I was able to install these alone. Just used a jack stand to help level the rails while mounting. My only wish is that the rails would tuck up more to get rid of some of the gap but overall very happy with them. Not sure what the long term review would be or how well these will hold up to winters etc. but we’ll see.

Packaging-A+Quality of weld-DQuality control-CFit-DWhen I spend near $500 for rock sliders I expect quality. As I said the packaging was impressive. Hard shell cardboard. I knew it wasn't damaged and didn't have to return it like others I've read. Weld was sloppy with beads not cleaned up. Welds were very chunky. It looked like an apprentice did the welding on his first day. The black powder coating was chipped in many places. I had to go to Home Depot to buy black paint to cover up all the places they missed when they were spraying. It's obvious no one checked the finished product. The driver side sliders did not fit. The first bracket did not align. I had to take a drummel to it and it took about an hour. Good thing is its very hard steel. The passenger side fit correctly. Overall it looks good and I also ordered the steps for additional function. Honestly I think it will hold up over time. The whole assembly is very burly and heavy, make sure you have a jack to hold it up while installing. If I knew what I know now I would not have ordered this. I should have tried the fitment first before I sprayed all the chips. I would have returned it because of fitment.

Good solid steps and rock sliders. The seller was also great to deal with.
