I was sceptical that this was even the problem with my 2006 Yukon, one day the lift gate and window just would not open anymore, no key entry available, so I had to go in the car and pull off the lift gate interior paneling and open the door manually, ordered this part from Amazon because I didn't want to pay $148 at the parts store for a little piece of plastic, is what it looked like to me. My 18 yr old son had it fixed in about 15 minutes altogether, had to watch a video on Youtube on correct placement, but it was easy... $15 fixed my door problem! Opens just like it should....Don't worry about doing this job, or buying this part! It works....
